How often do regular contractions occur?

Uterine contractions occur in the late stages of pregnancy and are periodic contractions, which is a condition before a pregnant woman gives birth. For many pregnant women, they are not very sure about uterine contractions. In fact, uterine contractions are divided into false contractions and true contractions. When true contractions come temporarily, it means that delivery is imminent. Uterine contractions are also very cyclical. So let's understand how often regular contractions occur?

When giving birth, pregnant women will feel abdominal pain, bloating or a falling sensation in the belly, etc. These are uterine contractions. In the beginning, uterine contractions will occur every 25 minutes and last for a few seconds. Later, uterine contractions will occur every 10 minutes and last for more than 10 seconds. In the future, uterine contractions will occur every 2 to 3 minutes, and the pain will last about 30 seconds. After regular uterine contractions occur, there will be severe pain in the waist and abdomen, accompanied by the straightening of the cervix and the reduction of the fetal head, which means that delivery is about to begin.

When uterine contractions begin, pregnant women should find a place to rest, leaning against the wall or lying flat as much as possible. When the contractions become more frequent, pregnant women should relax their bodies and take deep breaths to relieve pain. Or family members can give pregnant women back massages to help them relieve pain. When periodic uterine contractions occur, it means the fetus is about to come out. Pregnant women should not be too restless at this time, as tension and anxiety will make delivery difficult.

As the uterine contractions become more frequent, the pain will become more severe. If the pregnant woman screams during contractions, it can easily lead to poor uterine contraction and delay the delivery time. Therefore, in the case of pain, there is no need to consume too much energy. It is necessary to relieve stress as much as possible, which will be beneficial to the delivery of the fetus.
