Abdominal pain before ovulation

Abdominal pain before ovulation

Many women will pay close attention to their ovulation time when preparing for pregnancy. After all, this has a lot to do with successful conception. Many women will experience abdominal pain before and after ovulation, which should attract women's attention. When abdominal pain occurs during ovulation, it is best to go to the hospital for examination. If no other reasons are found, then it is a normal phenomenon and you don't need to worry or be nervous too much.

The body will feel pain during ovulation, usually in two situations.

The first one is the pre-ovulation period, which is the middle period between two menstrual periods. If you can feel pain in the lower abdomen at this time, it is called middle pain, which may mean that your body is ovulating.

Secondly, if a woman has ovulation disorders, she will also experience lower abdominal pain during ovulation. Ovulation disorders can be seen from some physical manifestations, such as menstrual disorders, obesity, hirsutism, etc. If the ovulation disorder is serious, it will lead to unstable sex hormone metabolism in the body, which may easily lead to infertility and breast hyperplasia.

How many days does abdominal pain last during ovulation?

Some women don't take it seriously, but some women are worried, wondering if they have some disease. In fact, this is just a normal physiological reaction of the body. Women don't need to be particularly nervous.

In order not to delay other diseases, women can judge whether it is normal ovulation pain based on the following three criteria: first, the pain occurs once a month; second, the onset site is sometimes on the left and sometimes on the right; third, the pain passes after a while and is not treated.

Why does abdominal pain occur during ovulation? Because during the ovulation process, due to the rupture of the follicular membrane and ovarian capsule, the follicular fluid stimulates the nearby peritoneum, and some more sensitive people (with a lower pain threshold) may experience abdominal pain. This pain is generally mild and occurs once a month. Since ovulation can occur alternately in both ovaries or occur more frequently on one side, the pain can occur alternately on the left and right ovaries or more frequently on one side.

Prevention of ovulation bleeding

1. Understand the physiology of ovulation, pay attention to maintaining a happy spirit during ovulation, avoid mental stimulation and mood swings, pay attention to keeping warm, avoid cold stimulation, and avoid overwork.

2. Understand the causes of ovulation bleeding, pay attention to hygiene during ovulation, prevent infection, pay attention to the hygiene and cleanliness of the external genitalia, and absolutely do not have sexual intercourse during the bleeding period.

3. During the ovulation period, you should wear soft, cotton underwear with good ventilation and breathability. Wash and change the underwear frequently, and dry the changed underwear in the sun.

4. During the ovulation period, you should avoid eating raw, cold, sour, spicy or other irritating foods. Drink more boiled water and keep your bowel movements smooth. People with hot blood should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables before menstruation, and avoid eating foods that stimulate dampness and generate heat, such as onions, garlic, leeks, and ginger.
