Is it normal not to vomit during early pregnancy?

Many women experience vomiting in the early stages of pregnancy, a symptom known as morning sickness. But in fact, not everyone will experience morning sickness. It depends on individual physical condition and other conditions. So in the early stages of pregnancy, even if there is no vomiting, it is relatively normal. Next, I will introduce to you some relevant knowledge about early pregnancy reactions!

1. What are the early pregnancy reactions?

Early pregnancy reaction refers to a series of reactions in the early stages of pregnancy (about six weeks after menstruation), which occur due to an increase in human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in the pregnant woman's body, a decrease in gastric acid secretion and a prolonged gastric emptying time, leading to dizziness, fatigue, loss of appetite, preference for sour food or aversion to greasy food, nausea, and vomiting in the morning. These symptoms generally do not require special treatment. After 12 weeks of pregnancy, as the HCG level in the body decreases, the symptoms will disappear naturally and appetite will return to normal.

2. Is it normal not to vomit in early pregnancy?

There are individual differences in the early or late onset of pregnancy symptoms. Some people do not have any early pregnancy symptoms during the entire pregnancy, which is also normal.

The absence of early pregnancy symptoms does not mean it is abnormal, so don't worry too much. In fact, some pregnant women also have no early pregnancy reactions. Some people have severe early pregnancy reactions, while others have relatively mild ones. Some people have mild early pregnancy reactions, some may just feel nauseous, and some may just feel tired. However, every expectant mother will have some different behaviors after pregnancy. Therefore, as long as the baby and the mother are normal during the pregnancy test, it is very normal to have no early pregnancy reaction.

It is normal to feel nauseous during early pregnancy but not vomit. Everyone's physical constitution is different, so there is no need to feel strange or worry if some people do not have these reactions. You should keep a happy mood and eat a balanced diet. However, moderate exercise is also necessary. You should not lie in bed and refuse to get up just because you feel sleepy.

3. How many days of pregnancy do you feel?

Some women worry about whether they are pregnant when their menstruation does not come when it is supposed to come, and even start to worry about when they will have early pregnancy reactions. So when do early pregnancy reactions start? Because each woman's physique is different, the timing of early pregnancy reactions will also be different. Generally, early pregnancy reactions can begin to appear four or five weeks after menstruation, but for most people, they begin to appear around six weeks, and the peak is around ten weeks. Generally, it is not until around the third month of pregnancy, which is about twelfth week after menstruation, that early pregnancy reactions will gradually subside.

As the level of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in the body of pregnant women increases, pregnant women will experience symptoms such as dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, nausea, vomiting in the morning, loss of appetite, aversion to oil, and preference for sour food. We call this early pregnancy reaction. The time when early pregnancy reactions appear and when they stop are closely related to hCG.
