Is white watery vaginal discharge normal?

Normally, the color of female leucorrhea should be milky white, not watery, and slightly yellowish when it falls on underwear. Generally, the leucorrhea is thicker one week before and after menstruation, and the leucorrhea during ovulation is stringy and transparent like egg white. If there is no other discomfort, you can continue to observe. If you had vaginitis before, the vaginal itching stopped after taking medication, and now the leucorrhea is white, a particularly thin liquid. If there is no itching or odor, consider the ovulation period as the cause.

You should consider vaginitis. You need to go to the hospital for a routine leucorrhea examination to see what type of vaginitis it is, and then give treatment. Sexual intercourse is prohibited during the treatment to avoid cross infection, possible bacterial vaginitis and other diseases, and possible fungal vaginitis and other diseases. Pay attention to personal hygiene.

Increased leucorrhea may be a gynecological inflammation. Excessive and thick leucorrhea is usually a manifestation of gynecological inflammation. It is recommended to go to the hospital for routine leucorrhea examination (to check for vaginitis) and cervical examination (to check for cervicitis), and then treat the symptoms after finding out the cause. Routine leucorrhea examination is to take vaginal secretions for examination. Cervical examination can be performed by colposcopy. Experienced doctors can also preliminarily check whether there is cervicitis by directly observing the cervix with the naked eye.

If gynecological inflammation occurs, you can rinse the vulva with warm water to keep the area clean and dry, and then use a hot pack to apply heat to the lower abdomen, which is very effective. It is recommended that you have a B-ultrasound examination to check whether there is any inflammation in the uterine cavity adnexa and whether there is any fluid accumulation in the pelvic cavity and then deal with it as appropriate. Eat more nutritious and easily digestible foods, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, strengthen your physical fitness and improve your immunity.

If there is simply excessive leucorrhea without yellow color, odor, vaginal itching and pain, inflammation is unlikely. Consider the possibility of too much raw and cold food. It is recommended to change underwear frequently, iron and wash underwear, wear cotton underwear as much as possible, avoid or eat less spicy and raw and cold food, and reduce the formation and secretion of leucorrhea.
