Disadvantages of drinking for women:

1. Affecting blood sugar regulation

When alcohol enters the body, it will affect the source of glucose or the activity of various hormones in the body. If women drink for a long time, it will lead to a large lack of glucose, especially when drinking on an empty stomach. The stored glycogen is more likely to be consumed quickly. When alcohol is in the metabolism process, the production of glucose will be inhibited to a certain extent, causing women to be in a state of hypoglycemia.

2. Affecting women’s reproductive function

The female reproductive system is also easily affected by various hormone levels, the most important of which is estrogen. Estrogen is mainly synthesized by the ovaries and then acts on the organs. After women drink alcohol, their secondary sexual characteristics will be suppressed and the menstrual cycle will also be affected to a certain extent, thereby inhibiting ovulation and leading to female infertility.

3. Affects endocrine

Alcohol can directly lead to endocrine disorders in women. After drinking, women's bodies will quickly absorb alcohol, which will affect the level of estrogen and disrupt the normal menstrual cycle.

Precautions for drinking

1. Do not drink on an empty stomach: because alcohol is absorbed quickly on an empty stomach, people can get drunk easily; and drinking on an empty stomach can cause great harm to the gastrointestinal tract and can easily cause gastric bleeding and gastric ulcers.

The best prevention method is to eat oily foods, such as fatty meat, pork knuckle, etc., or drink milk before drinking to use the indigestible nature of the fat in food to protect the stomach and prevent alcohol from penetrating the stomach wall. Don't drink on an empty stomach; this is the main trick to not getting drunk. Because this can prolong the time that ethanol is absorbed in the body.

2. Eat more green leafy vegetables when drinking: Since alcohol can cause great damage to the liver, the antioxidants and vitamins in green leafy vegetables can protect the liver. You can also eat some soy products, the lecithin in them can protect the liver.

3. Do not take a shower after drinking: The glucose stored in the body after drinking will be consumed by physical activity when taking a shower, causing a decrease in blood sugar levels and a sharp drop in body temperature. Alcohol inhibits the normal activity of the liver and hinders the recovery of glucose storage in the body, which can endanger life and cause death.
