Cesarean section time

Cesarean section time

In order to ensure the health of the child and the mother, many families choose to give birth to their babies by cesarean section. The time of cesarean section must be paid attention to. Before the operation, pregnant women need to pay attention to many things, such as doing various examinations and not eating randomly. The operation must be performed when the pregnant woman is in the best condition, which is more conducive to the smooth birth of the baby. So when is the best time for cesarean section?

Cesarean section is a surgery, and pregnant mothers need to fast for 8 hours before the operation. If the operation is performed in the afternoon, pregnant mothers will have to endure hunger for a long time and their blood sugar will also be low. When waiting for delivery, people are emotionally very nervous and in relatively poor condition, which can easily lead to discomfort. It is better if pregnant mothers choose to have surgery in the morning, because after dinner the night before, pregnant mothers can have a full sleep and will not eat at night, which just meets the requirement of fasting for 8 hours.

If a caesarean section is performed in the afternoon, pregnant mothers will have to receive intravenous drips after the operation, which will affect their rest at night. If the caesarean section is performed in the morning, the pregnant mother can get enough rest the night before. The operation can be completed in the morning and the infusion can be received in the afternoon, so there is no delay in rest. For new mothers, it is very important to have a good rest after giving birth for their body to recover.

Although cesarean section in the morning is a better choice, doctors generally do not inform this information. Because if all pregnant women who have cesarean section choose to have the operation in the morning, then the time will definitely not be arranged. Pregnant mothers should understand this. Therefore, the best option is for the pregnant mother to go to the hospital for hospitalization the day before the caesarean section and have the operation the next morning.

More and more pregnant mothers choose to give birth to their children by caesarean section, but in fact this method of delivery is not recommended either domestically or internationally, and it will produce many sequelae. For example, if the mother becomes pregnant again within one or two years after the operation, the risks are very high for both the mother and the fetus; it will cause very serious damage to the mother's uterus, and a very ugly scar will be left on her belly. The baby's physical condition after birth will be worse than that of a baby born normally.

In addition, if there are no special circumstances, it is best for pregnant mothers to wait until the baby is 39 weeks pregnant before undergoing surgery. The development of the fetus at 37 or 38 weeks of pregnancy is not as good as at 39 weeks.
