Methods of natural childbirth

Natural childbirth is the wish of every mother, mainly because natural childbirth has many benefits to the body, which is not only good for the baby, but also for the mother's body. Every pregnant woman has a different physical condition, so the natural birth situation will also be different. Some pregnant women have been in pain for a long time but have not given birth, while some are only a few hours away. However, as long as you follow the natural birth method recommended by the doctor, you don’t have to worry. So what is the method of natural birth?

It only took me five hours from the time my water broke to the birth of my baby. I was much luckier than those sisters who were in pain for more than ten hours but still couldn't give birth. My water broke at 12:30 in the middle of the night. I arrived at the hospital ten minutes later, and I started having regular contractions at 1:30, about every fifteen minutes. At 2:30 the contractions were more frequent, about once every ten minutes. By half past three, the contractions were less frequent and almost unbearable. I went to the delivery bed at 4:30, and the baby was born safely at 5:30 without episiotomy.

Later, many people around me asked me if there was any special method I used during pregnancy that allowed me to give birth so smoothly and quickly. So I have summarized some personal methods that help with natural childbirth during pregnancy, as follows: (Of course, everyone's body constitution is different, so some methods that are suitable for me may not be suitable for you. The experience here is for reference only.)

1. Keep walking! Except for the first three months when I needed to be extra careful, after three months I would take a walk every few days. I also traveled twice and went back to my hometown once, and I had no problem riding or walking during the trip. When I am at home, I basically walk around every day, for about half an hour to an hour.

2. Appropriate physical training. From the middle to the late stages of my pregnancy, I played table tennis every weekend, with no time limit, until I felt tired. You must choose this sport carefully and do it according to your own ability. Don't force yourself. For example, badminton, tennis, volleyball, etc. are definitely not allowed.

3. In the later stages, insist on climbing stairs. In the last month, I insisted on climbing the stairs every day. Since I lived on a high floor, I would take the elevator halfway and then walk five or six floors. It is easy to get tired when climbing stairs, so just make sure you get enough rest. When you feel tired, slow down and rest for a while before continuing to climb.

The above is my personal experience, all through exercise. The rest, such as diet, is nothing special. Many people say that it is good to drink jasmine bud tea in the late stage of illness. I haven’t drunk it myself, so just eat normally.
