Is it a boy or a girl if the belly is hard in late pregnancy

Pregnant women will feel very strange if they find their stomach becomes hard in the late pregnancy, always thinking that this indicates that they are pregnant with a boy or a girl. However, this prediction has no scientific basis. The hardening of the stomach in the late pregnancy indicates that there have been some changes in their skin, such as dry skin, or that they are about to give birth.

Premature rupture of membranes

Some expectant mothers will experience premature rupture of amniotic fluid when they are more than 30 weeks pregnant, which is medically called premature rupture of membranes. This could easily lead to emergencies. The expectant mother may have a head that is not connected, or there may be abnormal fetal positions such as breech presentation or double-foot presentation.

Once the amniotic fluid ruptures, the umbilical cord is likely to fall out, resulting in an emergency situation of umbilical cord prolapse. Once the umbilical cord prolapses, the baby will suffer from ischemia and hypoxia, and will soon suffer from intrauterine asphyxia or even death. This situation is very common. If the expectant mother finds that the amniotic fluid has broken prematurely, it is best to contact the hospital as soon as possible.

Once this happens, the expectant mother should pay attention to raising her hips to prevent umbilical cord prolapse. If an expectant mother has umbilical cord-like substance protruding, it is best to immediately find a hospital nearest to home for diagnosis and treatment.

In order to avoid dangerous situations, expectant mothers should pay more attention to the changes in the fetus in the body. Fetal movement monitoring is very important. It can be said to be a very effective indicator for a mother to monitor the condition of the fetus in the uterus. This is also a very important part of prenatal examinations in the late pregnancy. Therefore, expectant mothers should strengthen monitoring of the fetus's health in the womb.

Under normal circumstances, spotting in the late pregnancy is a sign of labor, that is, the uterus contracts, the baby's head begins to fall into the pelvis, and the fetal membrane and uterine wall gradually separate and the friction will cause blood vessels to rupture and bleed, commonly known as spotting. Many women believe that they will have contractions immediately after they see blood. Because of the mental tension, they focus their attention completely on this, which leads to insomnia. The physical fatigue caused by lack of sleep will lead to decreased physical strength and lack of energy, which is very unfavorable for childbirth.

Keep a good mood, wait actively and patiently, eat normally, ensure sleep, and maintain physical strength. If there is only a light streak of blood and the amount is not large, the pregnant mother can stay at home to observe and pay attention not to overwork and avoid strenuous exercise.
