How to treat breast pain

Breast pain is a manifestation of breast disease in women. It is generally a physical disease caused by breast hyperplasia, which can easily lead to breast pain and swelling. When the body suffers from other diseases, it can also easily lead to breast pain. When the estrogen in the female body often changes, it can easily lead to breast pain, which needs to be treated in time.

How to treat breast pain?

Breast pain is generally seen in patients with breast hyperplasia, which is also one of the common basic diseases in breast outpatient clinics. There are many causes of breast hyperplasia, the most common of which is hormone imbalance, which we often call endocrine disorders. Emotions such as anger and anxiety, stimulation from spicy food, and the effects of estrogen and progesterone before menstruation may also aggravate the symptoms of breast hyperplasia.

This type of hyperplasia generally refers to ordinary hyperplasia rather than the atypical hyperplasia that patients worry will turn into a malignant disease in the future. For breast hyperplasia, if the ultrasound results only show thickening of the gland and uneven echoes, special treatment is generally not given. Only when the patient's symptoms are more obvious and affect work and life for a long time, oral medication can be considered.

Commonly used medicines include some Chinese patent medicines that promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, such as Rupi Sanjie Capsules, Xia Kucao Oral Liquid, Ru'an Tablets, Xiaojin Pills, etc. If these drugs are ineffective, the anti-estrogen receptor drug toremifene can be considered.

First, the breasts encounter different hormones at different times of the month. Many times, fluctuations in hormones such as estrogen or progesterone in women's bodies will affect their menstrual cycle, causing breast pain in women. That is physiological breast pain, which is often related to menstruation and usually occurs one week before menstruation. For this type of breast pain, no special treatment is required and it will disappear on its own soon.

Second, many adolescent girls also experience breast pain during puberty. It mainly occurs after menarche. This is a normal physiological phenomenon and will generally disappear on its own as the breasts mature during puberty. No further intervention is needed. Also, when women are pregnant, they may experience breast pain. If this condition is severe, it can last throughout the pregnancy and no treatment is required. Many female friends will experience postpartum breast pain after giving birth. In this case, the mother should breastfeed as soon as possible. If a lump is found in the breast, it is necessary to apply hot compresses and massage the lump before breastfeeding. You can also use a breast pump to extract milk appropriately, which can promote the patency of the mammary ducts and help solve the problem of breast pain.

Third, the above are all physiological breast pain. Generally no special treatment is required. There are also some diseases that can cause breast pain in people. For example, many of them occur in first-time mothers within one to two months after delivery. At this time, timely treatment is necessary. Some female friends also experience breast pain due to long-term mental stress. At this time, they just need to adjust their mentality.

In general, female friends' breast pain can be divided into physiological breast pain and pathological breast pain. If it is physiological, such as occurring during puberty or a week before menstruation, then no special treatment is required. If these situations are excluded, then it is pathological breast pain. Treatment is necessary at this time.
