What's the matter with early menstruation?

The early onset of menstruation is closely related to women's emotions and lifestyle habits. Since the menstrual cycle is 28 days, if a woman has been in a bad mood or has weak qi recently, it is easy to cause her menstruation to come early. At the same time, endocrine disorders and the influence of drugs can cause menstrual cycle disorders. Women who use contraceptives, in particular, need to pay attention to the side effects of the drugs to avoid affecting future conception.

What is the cause of early menstruation?

What causes early menstruation? Early menstruation is a symptom of irregular menstruation. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that whether menstruation occurs normally is most closely related to the liver, spleen, kidneys and the Chong and Ren meridians. Most women whose menstruation comes early have weak qi or hot blood, which is equivalent to endocrine disorders in modern medicine.

The normal menstrual cycle for women is about 28 days. If the menstrual cycle is always more than 7 days early, or even occurs twice within a month, it is called "premature menstruation", also known as "early menstruation" or "early menstruation". If it only occurs 3-5 days in advance and there are no other obvious symptoms, it is normal. Occasionally, if your period comes early, it is not considered as early menstruation.

1. Disease factors. If a woman suffers from certain diseases, including local inflammation of the reproductive organs, tumors, intracranial diseases, endocrine dysfunction, or takes medication for a long time, it is easy to cause irregular menstruation.

2. Endocrine dysfunction. The main reason is that the function of the hypothalamus-pituitary-ovarian axis is unstable or defective, which can easily cause unstable menstruation in women.

3. Influence of drugs. Some drugs can cause endocrine disorders in women after taking them, such as some contraceptives, chemotherapy drugs, and drugs for treating mental illness. Once you stop taking these medicines, your periods will generally return to normal.

4. The impact of the IUD. Some women will experience early menstruation after having an IUD inserted. There is no need to worry too much about this, as menstruation will gradually return to normal.
