My stomach feels uncomfortable when I eat after I get pregnant

Many people find that pregnant women don’t want to eat this or that, and they often feel nausea and vomiting, which makes them seem particularly pretentious. It is not pretentious during pregnancy, but because of the body’s hormones, coupled with the changes in progesterone, pregnant mothers cannot eat normally. Expectant mothers will also feel very uncomfortable because they feel their stomachs churning, not only will they have acid reflux, but they will also feel nausea and vomiting, so try to avoid these foods.

How to regulate the stomach and intestines of pregnant women

Due to physiological changes in the body during pregnancy, the pregnant woman's body also undergoes great changes. Gastrointestinal discomfort is temporary and should be mainly regulated by diet therapy. Drugs should not be used for regulation. Try not to eat hard food that is difficult to digest, and eat more liquid and semi-liquid food because it is easy to digest. Eat more lotus root, water chestnut, water caltrop, tofu, chicken, radish, and green vegetables. Eat less spicy and irritating foods. And mentally you should be relaxed, happy and open-minded, without any worries or tension.

1. Avoid eating too cold or too hot food: too cold or too hot food will irritate the stomach. Although these foods can sometimes make people feel satisfied and increase their appetite, pregnant women should not eat these foods frequently.

2. The diet should be light: Pregnant women should not eat heavy-tasting food or spicy or other irritating food. It is best to eat light food. You can eat more vegetables rich in beta-carotene and fruits rich in vitamin C, such as carrots, cabbage, red peppers, kiwis, etc., to have a healthier stomach.

3. Relieve constipation: Constipation is very easy to occur during pregnancy. If constipation occurs, do not take medicine casually. You might as well eat more bananas, sweet potatoes and other foods rich in crude fiber, or eat some flax oil or honey water, which can effectively relieve constipation symptoms.

5. Eat small meals frequently: Pregnant women must pay attention to their diet and try to eat small meals frequently during the day, increase the frequency of meals, and avoid excessive expansion of the stomach. This will reduce the reflux of gastric acid and reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
