What are the causes of increased leucorrhea?

1. Fungal vaginitis: The leucorrhea is yellow, sticky and thin, and is in the shape of tofu dregs or curds;

2. Trichomonas vaginitis: thin pus-like, yellow, foamy, or like rice water, grayish white, and smelly;

3. Cervical erosion: When the cervix is ​​eroded, the leucorrhea is usually yellow, sticky like pus, and odorless;

4. Endometritis: Leucorrhea will also increase, become yellow and watery, and often be accompanied by abdominal pain.

Generally speaking, leucorrhea after menstruation is odorless and the amount is not large. It varies depending on the person's stage of the menstrual cycle. For example, during the ovulation period, the secretion of the cervical endometrial glandular cells is vigorous, so the leucorrhea increases, which is very similar to thin and transparent egg white. 2-3 days before and after the menstrual period, due to pelvic congestion, vaginal secretions increase, and the leucorrhea is also more, sometimes slightly bloody. When the corpus luteum function is insufficient, there will be brown secretions after menstruation.
