For some families, when they want a baby, they find that they just can't get pregnant. In fact, infertility is not just a female problem. Many men also have fertility problems due to problems such as sperm quality. But generally speaking, couples do not know the factors that affect pregnancy, so it is best to go to the hospital for examination. If it is a disease, you can have a baby normally after treatment.

The medical definition of infertility is the failure to achieve pregnancy after one year of normal sexual life without any contraceptive measures. It is mainly divided into primary infertility and secondary infertility. Primary infertility refers to the inability to conceive; secondary infertility refers to the infertility after having been pregnant. According to this strict definition, infertility is a common problem, affecting at least 10% to 15% of couples of childbearing age. The causes of infertility are divided into male infertility and female infertility.

Infertility is a group of fertility disorders caused by multiple causes and is an adverse reproductive health event for couples of childbearing age. It is generally believed that if a woman does not become pregnant after at least 12 months of unprotected sexual intercourse, it is called infertility, while in men it is called sterility. Infertility is divided into two categories: primary and secondary. Those who have never had a history of pregnancy and have never become pregnant without contraception are considered to have primary infertility. Those who have had a history of pregnancy but have not become pregnant for 12 consecutive months without contraception are considered to have secondary infertility.

Abnormalities in any of the female oocytes, male sperm, and the anatomy and function of the male and female reproductive tracts can lead to infertility or sterility. The incidence of infertility varies among countries, nationalities and regions. In my country, the incidence of infertility is approximately 7%-10%.
