Menopausal hormone indicators

Menopausal hormone indicators

Menopause is a very important stage for women. At this time, the body's functions are gradually declining, and the body's various examination indicators will also change. For example, the indicators of sex hormones will also change greatly, especially the levels of the six hormone tests will be relatively low. Therefore, women in menopause often have some symptoms during this period, such as poor physical constitution and bad mood, etc. Let's take a look at this aspect.

Menopausal hormone indicators

The six sex hormones include luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone, prolactin, testosterone, progesterone, and estradiol. If you suspect that you have reached menopause, then there will definitely be problems with the indicators in the six sex hormone tests. For women who enter menopause, the ovaries will gradually decline, so the levels of estradiol and progesterone will be relatively low.

What are the symptoms of menopause in women?

1. Symptoms of autonomic nervous system instability

Such as palpitations, dizziness, insomnia, abnormal skin sensation, etc. It is often accompanied by hot flashes. A small number of women do not have hot flashes and only show one or several of these symptoms.

Generally, people who are 15-20% over normal weight are considered obese. Menopause is the main period for women to gain weight, especially in the abdomen and buttocks, where fat is most likely to accumulate.

3. Menstrual changes

(1) Irregular uterine bleeding

Dysfunctional uterine bleeding occurs due to cessation of ovulation.

It refers to a menstrual cycle of more than 35 days, caused by infrequent ovulation, often accompanied by a decrease in menstrual blood volume.

(3) Frequent menstruation

It refers to a menstrual cycle shorter than 21 days, often accompanied by premenstrual spotting and prolonged bleeding time. The main cause of this is luteal insufficiency.

(4) Amenorrhea

After the ovaries' synthesis of sex hormones is drastically reduced, the endometrium loses the influence of estrogen and progesterone and is in a dormant state, so it no longer proliferates or sheds, and amenorrhea occurs.
