2. Intrauterine device with progesterone

The placement time still needs to be determined by the total amount of progesterone stored in the IUD and its daily release. Generally speaking, some progesterone will be almost completely released after one year, which means that it needs to be replaced annually, but some can still be used continuously for up to 3-5 years.

3. Copper IUD

Generally, it can be kept for 3-5 years. For example, if women use copper tubes instead of copper wires, it can be kept for 10-15 years.
