The chance of early pregnancy is still relatively high nowadays. After it happens, patients will find that they have clinical manifestations of bleeding in their vagina, but they cannot find any way to relieve it. At this time, they should do a series of detailed examinations, such as B-ultrasound and urine tests. These examination items can accurately determine the cause of their illness, so that targeted treatment can be taken. Test and Inspection The urine pregnancy test is performed by professional testers in the hospital's laboratory department using testing instruments to test the patient's urine sample. If human chorionic gonadotropin is detected in the urine, it normally indicates pregnancy. Urine samples must be collected from morning urine, because morning urine is concentrated and has higher hormone levels. In order to increase the positive rate of the test, you should try to reduce your water intake the night before. It is best to get a container from the hospital laboratory in advance, because it contains preservatives and the urine is not easy to deteriorate. If conditions permit, any wide-mouth bottle can be used, but it needs to be washed and boiled for sterilization or rinsed with boiling water. After collecting about 10 ml of morning urine, send it to the hospital for testing immediately. If the time is delayed too long, it may affect the accuracy of the test. This should be paid more attention to in the summer. B-mode ultrasound Using B-ultrasound to diagnose early pregnancy is the most accurate and reliable method. As early as the 5th week of pregnancy, which is one week after the menstrual period, a round halo in the uterus, also known as the pregnancy ring, can be seen on the B-type ultrasound screen. The dark area inside the ring is amniotic fluid, in which a rhythmic fetal heartbeat can also be seen. Basal body temperature This is the simplest and easiest method. Measure your body temperature in bed every morning after waking up. The temperature at this time is called basal body temperature. Generally, the body temperature is below 36.5 degrees before ovulation. After ovulation, the progesterone level rises and acts on the body temperature center, causing the body temperature to rise by 0.3-0.5 degrees. If the egg cannot be fertilized, progesterone levels will drop after about a week and the body temperature will return to normal; if pregnancy has occurred, progesterone levels will remain high, keeping the body temperature high as well. If the high temperature curve phenomenon in the basal body temperature persists for more than 18 days, early pregnancy can generally be confirmed. It is also important to note that X-rays cannot be used to diagnose early pregnancy. Because only after 18-20 weeks of pregnancy can X-rays show fetal bone shadows, and X-rays in early pregnancy can damage the fetus. |
