Is breast pain and lower abdominal pain a sign of pregnancy?

In the early stages of pregnancy, due to the sudden changes in hormones in the body, pregnant women will also show corresponding symptoms of pregnancy. Although there are many ways in modern medicine to test whether a woman is pregnant, women can also infer it through physical symptoms. Many women feel breast pain accompanied by lower abdominal pain. Is this caused by pregnancy?

1. Stopping of menstruation

If you have sex around the time of ovulation and do not take any contraceptive measures, and your menstrual cycle is normal and your period suddenly stops for more than five days, then you are very likely pregnant.

2. Nausea and vomiting

Starting from around the fifth week of pregnancy, most pregnant women will experience morning sickness, especially feeling very nauseous in the morning and evening. Morning sickness is also directly related to the human chorionic gonadotropin in the human body. When a woman has just become pregnant, the level of human chorionic gonadotropin will increase. The higher the hormone level, the more likely people will feel nauseous.

3. Breast enlargement and tenderness

One to two weeks after conception, people's breasts will become swollen and softer. Stimulated by pregnancy, the body will produce a lot of estrogen and progesterone, and the breast glands will begin to grow, so the breasts will become larger. These hormones will also prompt the breasts to retain more fluid, so many women will find that their breasts become sore and soft.

4. Increased leucorrhea

After pregnancy, the estrogen level in a woman's body will gradually increase as the pregnancy progresses. Estrogen can also promote the secretion of mucus by the cervix and endometrial glands. The vagina and cervix of pregnant women have more blood flow and the moisture in the tissues will increase, so the secretions will increase and the amount of leucorrhea will also increase.

5. Dull abdominal pain

Abdominal pain after pregnancy is actually a normal physiological phenomenon. Generally, physiological abdominal pain is not particularly serious and the attack time is relatively short. Because the uterus will enlarge after pregnancy, the uterine ligaments will also be stretched. Generally, it will not affect daily life. Most of the time, the pain will occur during the 3rd to 5th month of pregnancy. Generally, there will be a dull pain or pulling pain in the abdomen, one side or both sides of the uterus.

In fact, if people are planning to get pregnant, they can test the hcg value in urine or blood ten days after sexual intercourse to determine whether they are pregnant. Most women will only notice it when they reach menopause. If women's menstruation is delayed, they will also find that their vaginal discharge increases, their abdomen and chest feel bloated and painful, and they often cannot eat. At this time, they need to go to the hospital for an ultrasound examination to confirm it.
