Fetal heart rate is always on the right

The fetal heart rate is an important health indicator of the fetus. Checking the fetal heart rate has a good monitoring effect. If you find that the fetal heart rate is always on the right, don’t worry too much. Generally speaking, this is a normal phenomenon. Generally speaking, during the 6th to 8th month of pregnancy, the position of the fetal heart rate will change to a certain extent. This is mainly because it is constantly developing. Let’s take a look at this aspect.

Fetal heart rate is always on the right

The earliest time to determine the gender is by ultrasound examination is 3 and a half months of pregnancy. In fact, it is fine as long as the fetus is healthy.

In the early and middle stages of pregnancy, the baby's heartbeat is irregular. It is sometimes fast, sometimes slow, and sometimes even stops suddenly. It is mostly in the range of 120-160 beats/minute, and sometimes exceeds this range. This is all normal.

1. During the first to fifth months of pregnancy, you can find the fetal heartbeat just below the navel and on both sides of the midline of the abdomen.

2. During the 6th to 8th month of pregnancy, the position of the fetal heart also changes. This is because the baby begins to grow and their little heart moves upwards. At this time, it is necessary to make a judgment based on the fetal movement. Fetal movement is naturally the movement of the baby's hands and feet. So when the expectant mother feels movement on the left side of her belly, the fetal heart rate can be tracked on the right side of the belly. If the fetal movement is felt on the right side, it can be easily found on the left side.

In addition, you can also find the fetal heart rate based on the position of the baby's head and hips. If the baby's head is down, the fetal heart rate will be slightly below the navel. If the baby's hips are down, the fetal heart rate will be above the navel.

3. During the 9th and 10th months of pregnancy, the fetal position will basically not change. The expectant mother only needs to remember the position during the doctor's examination and listen again after returning home to confirm it. If you cannot hear the fetal heartbeat in the original fixed position, but can still feel obvious fetal movement, this means that the fetal position has changed. If you cannot even feel the fetal movement, it is recommended to inform the doctor immediately.

How to detect fetal heart rate

In the fourth month of pregnancy, the position of the fetal heart rate can be tracked, but the baby at this stage is still very small and it is difficult to monitor it using an ordinary stethoscope. A Doppler stethoscope is needed for monitoring. It is best to learn to listen to the fetal heart rate under the guidance of a doctor. Generally speaking, by the 17th week of pregnancy, it can be tracked with an ordinary stethoscope. Usually, home monitoring mostly uses the following three types of equipment:

1. Fetal heart rate monitor

The price is moderate and it uses Doppler auscultation technology. Some instruments can directly calculate the fetal heart rate and display it on the screen, while others are specifically for expectant fathers and mothers to listen to.

2. Fetal talk instrument

It is more expensive, but more intelligent and has more functions than the former. It can not only allow expectant mothers to hear the fetal heartbeat, but also record it, calculate the fetal heart rate and number of fetal movements, organize and draw graphs of daily data, and allow doctors to monitor remotely. It has now developed to the point where it can be used in conjunction with a mobile phone APP, which is very convenient.

3. Stethoscope

It is the cheapest, but requires a certain level of technical content, otherwise it is difficult to track the baby's heartbeat position, and it is easily affected by external interference, making it difficult to hear the sound.
