Cervical pain during intercourse

Cervical pain during intercourse

Sexual life can be said to be the most indispensable item in the life of a couple, but some female friends may be in a sub-healthy state, especially in female gynecology. When women experience cervical pain during sexual intercourse, it means that there is inflammation and infection in the female gynecology, and such a phenomenon is likely to cause cervical erosion. So what should you do if you feel pain in your cervix during sex?

The most common cause of this situation is generally caused by inflammatory infection after sexual intercourse. The preliminary diagnosis is cervicitis or cervical erosion.

During the treatment period of this symptom, you should pay attention to your diet and avoid sexual intercourse to avoid aggravating the condition. If the symptoms are severe, you can take Fuyankang and amoxicillin capsules orally for treatment.

The cervix is an important passage connecting the female vagina and uterus. It is the place where women must pass through to conceive, so cervical diseases can easily lead to female infertility.

So, what is the cause of cervical pain? Experts point out that cervical pain is generally caused by inflammatory infection or cancer, and is a precursor to serious illness and should not be taken lightly.

A woman's cervix is generally composed of the following parts:

1. The area from the external cervical os to the vaginal vault is covered with stratified squamous epithelium.

2. The cervical canal mucosa is the endocervix, which is covered with a single layer of columnar epithelium that secretes mucus. The epithelium sinks into the propria layer to form adenoid crypts, commonly known as cervical glands, which can secrete mucus and become the main component of leucorrhea.

3. The junction area between the columnar epithelium of the cervical canal and the squamous epithelium of the vagina outside the cervix is called the cervical epithelial transition zone or transformation zone. The position of the junction area between the two types of cells is not fixed and may move with the level of estrogen in the female body, age, endocrine system, vaginal pH and pathological condition.

4. There are reserve cells on the surface of the endocervical canal, below the glandular columnar epithelium and above the basement membrane, which have the potential for bidirectional differentiation: proliferation and differentiation into columnar epithelial cells and metaplasia into squamous epithelium.
