At what age do girls fully develop

When men and women enter puberty, it is the time when they develop the fastest. During this period, they will not only grow in height, but also their sexual organs will develop very fast. After female friends reach puberty, their breasts will develop rapidly and menstruation will come. At this time, they can enter the stage of women. So at what age can girls fully develop?

The puberty period for girls starts from 11-12 years old to 17-18 years old, but there are large individual differences, sometimes the difference can be 2-4 years. This period is characterized by significantly accelerated growth and development under the action of sex hormones, greater increases in weight and height, gradually obvious secondary sexual characteristics, and rapid development and maturity of reproductive organs. At this time, due to the unstable nervous and endocrine regulation, psychological, behavioral, and mental instability often occurs; on the other hand, due to the increased contact with society and the encounter of many new problems, the external environment has an increasingly greater impact. According to developmental characteristics, puberty is divided into:

Prepuberty: refers to the period of intense growth and development before a girl's first menstruation or a boy's first nocturnal emission, which usually lasts about 2-3 years.

Mid-puberty: refers to the 3-4 years after the start of development of secondary sexual characteristics, also known as the sexual characteristics development period. This period is characterized by the development of sexual characteristics.

Late puberty: refers to the stage from the development of secondary sexual characteristics to adulthood to the cessation of physical development. It usually lasts about 3 years.

Girls' development

Generally, girls begin to develop at the age of ten, and the first thing that happens is that their breasts change. The nipples will bulge slightly and the color of the nipples will change slightly. Then the girl's second organ will begin to develop and the pubic hair will begin to grow.

In addition, girls begin to menstruate when they are thirteen or fourteen years old. Menstruation marks the beginning of the maturation of a woman's internal reproductive organs, such as the ovaries and uterus.

For girls' development, the first thing is the development of chest and shoulders. Generally speaking, the chest starts to grow slowly and the shoulders start to become round when the child is nine or ten years old. These changes will occur around the age of eleven or twelve. Around the age of eleven, the nipples begin to appear. Between the ages of twelve and thirteen, the breasts and nipples gradually become larger and the areola appears. These are all things that girls must experience during puberty.

Of course, in addition to some major changes in female characteristics, the height, body shape and weight of adolescent girls will also develop very rapidly.

What nutrients should girls supplement during their growth period?

1. Protein

Protein is the basis of growth and development. The massive proliferation of body cells is all based on protein. Children and adolescents in their growth and development period need 2 to 4 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight.

2. Thermal energy

The heat energy required by adolescents is 25 to 50% more than that of adults. This is because teenagers are very active, have high basic needs, and need more additional nutrients for growth and development. Heat energy mainly comes from carbohydrates, which are provided by various foods. Therefore, teenagers must ensure adequate intake of staple foods.

3. Vitamins

Vitamins are essential for the growth and development of the human body. It can not only prevent certain diseases, but also improve the body's immunity. Most of the vitamins needed by the human body come from vegetables and fruits.

4. Minerals

Minerals are essential nutrients for human physiological activities. Especially for adolescents who are in the growth and development period, the demand is greater. Calcium and phosphorus are involved in the formation of bones and nerve cells. Insufficient calcium intake or an inappropriate calcium-phosphorus ratio will inevitably lead to incomplete bone development.
