What are the three types of breast fibroids?

The mammary gland is the glandular tissue inside the breast. People with more developed mammary glands are mainly women. This is a special ability given to women by the gift of fertility. The mammary gland is also a high-incidence tissue for diseases. In modern life, more and more women are troubled by breast problems. Among them, breast fibroids are a common manifestation of the disease. Let’s take a look at the three types of breast fibroids. I hope everyone can understand it.

Grade 3 breast fibroid is a medical classification. This means that this is a benign lesion, but the follow-up period needs to be shortened, such as checking once every 3-6 months. The possibility of malignancy at this stage is 2%. Breast fibroids are very harmful to the human body. Early detection requires early surgery, and the earlier the surgery, the better the recovery.

Patients with breast fibroids often have obvious mood changes, such as anger, tension, rage, anxiety, depression, etc. Their daily routines will also be disrupted, seriously affecting the body's immune function. Therefore, once it is discovered, it should be treated as soon as possible. Category three of fibroids is a medical classification, which means that the tumor is not small and requires surgical treatment.

Breast fibroadenoma is the most common tumor in young women. It is a benign tumor composed of a mixture of glandular epithelium and fibrous tissue, and is related to the imbalance of sex hormone levels in the patient's body. It is extremely rare for fibroadenoma to transform into fibrosarcoma or breast cancer, less than 1%. To prevent this disease, you should establish good living habits, reduce psychological stress and keep a good mood. Control the intake of high-fat, high-calorie foods, and do not take exogenous estrogen indiscriminately. Master the breast self-examination method and develop the habit of self-examination of breasts once a month. If unexplained breast nodules are found, go to the hospital for diagnosis in time. Actively participate in breast cancer screening.

Surgical removal can be considered. If a breast self-examination or a hospital check-up reveals that the fibroadenoma tends to grow, or if color ultrasound originally showed no blood flow signals in the mass but now shows a large amount of blood flow signals, surgical removal should be performed. Patients with breast fibroids should undergo fibroadenoma removal before planning to become pregnant, as surgery is not suitable during breastfeeding.
