Yellow green discharge in pregnant women

Yellow green discharge in pregnant women

Because women have special reproductive organs, they often find some secretions in their private parts. By observing the secretions, we can judge the health of the body in time. After pregnancy, women will undergo many changes in their bodies, and secretions are no exception. Some pregnant women find that they have yellow-green secretions in their private parts. So what is the matter with pregnant women with yellow-green secretions?

First, what is the matter with pregnant women having yellow-green discharge? Leucorrhea is yellow-green in color, which is generally a symptom of candidal vaginitis. Because women's body resistance is relatively weak during pregnancy, it is easy for bacteria to invade. If you do not pay attention to cleanliness and hygiene, it is easy to cause bacterial infection and vaginal inflammation, or even cause the recurrence of previously cured vaginal inflammation. Therefore, you must go to a regular professional obstetric hospital as soon as possible.

Second, purulent leucorrhea. The vaginal discharge is yellow or green and has a foul odor. This is generally caused by Trichomonas vaginitis or purulent bacterial infection. It is common in Trichomonas vaginitis, chronic cervicitis, vaginal foreign bodies, etc. The main symptoms of bacterial vaginosis are increased vaginal discharge with a foul odor, which may be accompanied by mild vulvar itching or burning sensation. The leucorrhea is off-white, uniformly thin, and has very low viscosity. Yellow leucorrhea. Light yellow leucorrhea is common in mycoplasma and chlamydia infections. Dark yellow leucorrhea is caused by necrosis or degeneration of diseased tissue, and is commonly seen in subuterine fibroids, cervical malignancy, uterine body malignancy, and fallopian tube malignancy. Watery leucorrhea. If there is a continuous discharge of rice-washing water-like leucorrhea, and it is accompanied by a strong odor, it is usually due to advanced cervical cancer, vaginal cancer, or submucosal fibroids with infection. If you have intermittent discharge of yellow or red watery vaginal discharge, you should be aware of the possibility of fallopian tube cancer.

What happens if a pregnant woman has yellow-green discharge? If a pregnant mother has candidal vaginitis, not only will she suffer, but the baby in her belly will also be affected to a certain extent. Therefore, experts from Dalang Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital recommend that pregnant mothers should seek medical treatment in time and use medications carefully under the guidance of a doctor. Try to choose medications that have less impact on the fetus, and do not take medications blindly to avoid affecting the safety of the fetus. In addition, you should actively cooperate with your doctor to do prenatal examinations so that problems can be discovered early and measures can be taken to solve them.
