If the pain is particularly severe, you can go to the hospital to see a doctor for examination, but if it is within the tolerable range, it may get better after a while. So how to relieve limb pain in the early stages of pregnancy?

What to do if you have body aches during early pregnancy

If you experience body aches in the early stages of pregnancy, consider it a normal pregnancy reaction. It is recommended that you pay attention to rest, improve nutrition, avoid fatigue and sexual life. It is advisable to have regular prenatal check-ups.

Causes of low back pain:

① The abdomen is heavy and the correct posture cannot be maintained, and the waist muscles are easily fatigued, thus causing low back pain. It is said that once people start walking on two legs, back pain is inevitable. What's more, a pregnant woman's belly feels like it has a heavy bag hanging on it, or rather, it is natural for her to have back pain.

②Due to pregnancy, the hormone secretion in the human body changes. In order for the baby to pass smoothly through the birth canal during delivery after pregnancy, the human body secretes a hormone that relaxes the ligaments connecting the pelvis. This hormone also relaxes the muscles, increasing the curvature of the spine, making back pain more likely.

③ Lack of exercise causes a person’s basic physical strength to decline. When your physical strength decreases, you cannot maintain a normal posture and are prone to back pain.

④In addition, the impact on the uterus and fetus can also cause low back pain.

Can all low back pain in pregnant women be considered caused by pregnancy?

There is also low back pain caused by diseases, such as herniated disc, spinal deformity, uterine tumor, urinary stones, sciatica, etc. These diseases are sometimes not limited to low back pain, but can also affect other parts of the body. If you have any doubts, you can go to the doctor, but of course these situations are not very common.

How to prevent lower back pain:

① Use a belly band or a belt for pregnant women to support your waist.

②Don’t stand up quickly. When you stand up, use your hands to hold on to the table or chair.

③ Pay attention to whether the posture is correct. The correct standing posture is to keep your legs slightly apart, your back straight, your chest up, and your chin tucked in. If you hold your posture correctly, your big belly won't be noticeable.

④ Don’t wear high heels. Choose shoes with heels of about 3 to 4 cm that are more stable.

⑤Choose a chair that suits you. It is not good if the chair is too high or too low. You should sit as far in as possible with the lower part of your back pressed against the backrest. In addition, soft cushions that sink easily are tiring to sit on, so choose harder ones.

⑥ When taking something, you should sit down first.

⑦ Don’t sleep on a mattress that is too soft and that easily causes your waist to sink.

⑧Do exercise. The purpose is to exercise fat muscle and enhance physical strength. Because the main function of supporting the palmar spine is the fascia muscle. This is an area you should exercise before you get pregnant. The best effect will be achieved if you do exercises to prevent back pain and exercises for pregnant women now. There are exercises for pregnant women that can exercise the abdominal muscles without putting pressure on the abdomen.

In addition, swimming is also effective for pregnant women.
