Late pregnancy anxiety

Late pregnancy anxiety

Some pregnant women will feel huge changes in their bodies in the late stages of pregnancy, which will make them very anxious and even cause late pregnancy anxiety disorder. This is a very serious disease. If it occurs, it will affect their future delivery problems and ultimately make it impossible to give birth smoothly, which is very troublesome.

Family

In the final stage of pregnancy, pregnant women often show strong psychological dependence and hope to seek protection and attract attention from others. This reaction is not being squeamish, but a normal psychological reaction. Pregnant women may chatter incessantly, which is a reasonable channel for venting negative emotions. At this time, the husband should understand his wife's emotional fluctuations, listen to her patiently, give her spiritual encouragement and comfort, dispel her worries, and especially not put pressure on her regarding the gender of the child.

Tight abdominal wall can cause many discomforts to pregnant women. The husband can gently stroke his wife's abdomen at night. On the one hand, it can communicate with the baby whom he has not met yet, and on the other hand, it can relieve his wife's discomfort, satisfy her dependence psychology and improve her anxiety.

It would be best if the pregnant woman’s mother or mother-in-law could also tell her story in person so that the pregnant woman can understand the entire process of delivery and have a clear idea of what is going on.

Self-regulation

In addition to the care and consideration of their family, pregnant women themselves should also pay attention to physical and mental regulation.

1. We must correct incorrect understanding of production. Fertility is an innate ability of women, and childbirth is a normal physiological phenomenon. The vast majority of women can complete it smoothly and naturally. If there are some problems such as malposition of the fetus or narrow pelvis, modern medical technology can also smoothly perform caesarean section to remove the baby to maximize the safety of mother and child.

2. Pregnant women should learn relevant knowledge, increase their understanding of themselves, and enhance their self-confidence in giving birth to a healthy baby.

3. Pregnant women with prenatal complications should actively treat the complications, maintain a close relationship with their doctors, seek advice in a timely manner when they have questions, and maintain a good mood.

4. Communicate with some mothers and ask for their experiences.

5. Do some activities that are beneficial to your health before giving birth, such as knitting, painting, singing, taking a walk, etc. Don’t stay at home and lie in bed all day, focusing on worries about the future.
