Sudden bleeding at 11 weeks of pregnancy

Sudden bleeding at 11 weeks of pregnancy

When a woman is 11 weeks pregnant, she is still in the early stages of pregnancy. At this time, the fetus is not particularly stable, so most women will stay in bed and rest until the fetus is stable before moving. If there is sudden bleeding in the early stages of pregnancy, 80% of women will have miscarriage, which is a serious phenomenon. So what is the reason for sudden bleeding in the 11th week of pregnancy?

When a woman is pregnant for about one and a half months, the chorion in her body causes a significant increase in the secretion of gonadal hormones, which significantly reduces gastric acid and the activity of digestive enzymes. Therefore, it not only affects the normal digestive function of the gastrointestinal tract of pregnant women, but also causes pregnancy reactions such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, limb fatigue, etc., also known as "morning sickness", which is a normal physiological phenomenon.

Generally, if the symptoms of morning sickness are mild, no treatment is required and they will disappear naturally after a period of time. In order to relieve the symptoms of morning sickness, you can eat some hawthorn, citrus, bayberry and other fruits and their products, because these foods contain more organic acids, which can stimulate the secretory glands of the stomach wall, increase gastric acid, increase the activity of digestive enzymes, promote gastrointestinal motility and increase appetite, which helps digestion and absorption of food.

In terms of dietary adjustment, it varies from person to person, and generally consists of foods that are easily digestible. Such as bread, biscuits, juice, honey, jam, snacks, etc. You can also eat some protein foods such as eggs, animal liver, lean meat, fish, shrimp, dairy products, and soy products. Carp, in particular, is particularly effective in treating morning sickness. The specific method is: take a fresh carp weighing more than 500 grams, remove the scales, gills and intestines, place it on a plate, put it in a steamer and steam it for 15 to 20 minutes, take it out and eat it, but be careful to prohibit the use of all oil, salt and seasonings, otherwise it will not be effective.

Some pregnant women suffer from severe morning sickness due to excessive mental stress and nervous system dysfunction, and may even vomit frequently and violently, and become unable to eat and vomit if they eat. In addition to food and mucus, vomitus sometimes contains bile or coffee-colored blood residue, which in turn manifests as general weakness, obvious weight loss, and oliguria. If the reaction is severe, seek medical treatment and take vitamin B.

Intravenous drip of glucose and sodium chloride injection also has a certain effect. You should pay attention to adjusting your diet and choose light and delicious foods, especially fresh vegetables and fruits. Avoid eating greasy or hard and indigestible fried foods. Tobacco, alcohol and strong spicy condiments should also be prohibited. You can eat small meals frequently, 5 to 6 meals a day is appropriate; you should also separate dry and liquid foods, and drink soup and water between meals.

Morning sickness is usually more severe in the early morning on an empty stomach. Dry starchy foods can relieve vomiting. For example, before getting up, in order to reduce vomiting, pregnant women can first rinse their mouths, eat some toast, steamed buns, biscuits and other foods, then lie down for about half an hour, and then get up slowly, which can effectively prevent vomiting. Replenishing water is very important for pregnant women, but don’t be afraid of vomiting. Drink water after vomiting. Repeat this several times and you won’t vomit again.

You can also add a little salt to the drink to prevent vomiting caused by low sodium. Morning sickness is milder at night, and the appetite should be increased appropriately. If necessary, an additional meal can be added before going to bed to meet the nutritional needs of the pregnant woman and the fetus. Some pregnant women suffer from malnutrition due to severe vomiting, especially insufficient iron intake, which may cause anemia, such as pale complexion, dizziness, palpitations, shortness of breath, memory loss, weakness in the limbs and other symptoms. In severe cases, a doctor should be consulted to take treatment measures.
