Symptoms of metrorrhagia

Symptoms of metrorrhagia

The menstrual period is very difficult for every female friend, especially for those who suffer from dysmenorrhea. Many female friends also experience hemorrhage during menstruation, which can cause great harm to their bodies. Generally, hemorrhage during menstruation can cause extreme ischemia and even trigger a series of diseases. Therefore, when this happens, you must seek medical treatment in time to avoid causing greater harm.

1. Symptoms of metrorrhagia

Excessive menstrual flow and prolonged menstrual period are called menorrhagia in medical terms. If your period lasts longer than seven days, if you pass large clots of blood during your period, or if you have heavy bleeding, you may have menorrhagia. Disruptions in the hormones that control the menstrual cycle often lead to menorrhagia. Conditions such as uterine fibroids, pelvic infection, or the rare condition endometriosis can cause heavy periods. Intrauterine contraceptive devices can also cause this problem.

In Western medicine, hemorrhage is called functional uterine bleeding. Dysfunctional uterine bleeding is a common gynecological disease that is more common during adolescence and menopause. The clinical manifestations are that menstruation loses its normal regular cycle and is replaced by excessive menstrual flow of varying frequencies and prolonged uterine bleeding. There were no obvious organic lesions in the internal and external genitalia, and no pregnancy complications or systemic hemorrhagic diseases. The causes of menstrual disorders including functional uterine bleeding may include excessive mental stress, changes in environment and climate, fatigue, malnutrition or metabolic disorders, etc.

2. Precautions during menstruation

To treat this disease, you must use standardized medication under the guidance of a specialist and not take medication privately. After taking the medicine, if the condition is still not under control, you need to go to the hospital for a follow-up visit (you can see another doctor). Pay attention to rest and hygiene at ordinary times, and go to the hospital for an endocrine examination on the 3rd to 5th day of your next menstruation. Follow the doctor's instructions for specific details.

Women also bleed during menstruation, so they can eat some blood-replenishing and qi-boosting foods just after the menstrual cycle. This is also the reason why women during menstruation become physically weak. If you experience hemorrhage during your menstrual period, there must be something wrong with your body and you must go to the hospital as soon as possible to check and find out the cause.
