Is it accurate to tell the gender of a baby by looking at the morning urine during pregnancy?

After becoming pregnant, women will be curious about whether their baby is a boy or a girl. Some women want to know the gender of the baby through normal prenatal examinations, but hospitals nowadays will not inform pregnant women of the results, otherwise they will be severely punished. Some pregnant women have heard that they can find out the gender of the fetus by observing the morning urine, so is it accurate to tell the gender of the baby through the morning urine during pregnancy?

First, is it accurate to determine the gender of the baby by looking at the urine in the morning during pregnancy? Urine has nothing to do with the gender of the fetus. Nowadays, the gender of the fetus of a pregnant woman is usually determined by B-ultrasound. However, even the most experienced imaging experts cannot achieve 100% accuracy in pregnancy of three and a half months or more than three months. The claim that if medical alcohol is dropped into a pregnant woman's morning urine and it turns red, it means she is pregnant with a boy, and if it does not change color, it means it is a girl has no scientific basis.

Second, the accuracy of B-ultrasound diagnosis is only about 85% to 90%, and it can usually be detected after the fetus is 4 months old. Ultrasound is a type of sound wave, and reports so far show that it has no adverse effects on the fetus, so it is very commonly used in the obstetrics and gynecology community. When using ultrasound to diagnose the sex of a fetus, the accuracy for a boy can reach over 95%, while the reliability for a girl is only about 85%. When the fetus is 15 weeks old, every 1 ml of amniotic fluid contains nearly 10,000 fetal cells. By taking out these amniotic fluid cells and analyzing their chromosomes, the sex of the baby can be determined.

Third, a gene called "SRY" only exists on the Y chromosome. Once its presence is detected, it means that the fetus is male. This type of examination can be performed 5 weeks after conception, but there is no such technical support in China.

Is it accurate to tell the gender of the baby by looking at the morning urine during pregnancy? In fact, there are many ways to tell whether the baby is a boy or a girl. Some methods include looking at the physical characteristics of the pregnant woman, or by testing the morning urine. In fact, these methods are not 100% accurate. If you want to know whether it is a boy or a girl, you can only get accurate results through B-ultrasound examination. Whether it is a boy or a girl, they are the apple of our eyes, as long as the baby is healthy.
