Breasts are a woman's second image, and as a part of her body that shows her charm, breasts have always attracted people's attention. In modern life, some women have small breasts due to physical reasons, which seriously affects their self-image. To change this situation, plastic surgery must be used. Among them, prosthesis implantation is a more commonly used method. Let’s take a look at what breast prosthesis implantation techniques are available. The surgical method, namely breast augmentation surgery with breast implants, is a method of enlarging the breasts by inserting implants behind the breasts or behind the pectoralis major muscle. It is currently the most widely used method. Breast implants consist of a silicone elastomer shell that is usually filled with silicone gel or a soft, adhesive silicone gel that retains shape memory. Silicone gel implants have been widely used in cosmetic breast augmentation since the 1970s and are currently a commonly used material by plastic surgeons at home and abroad. Due to its large molecular weight and jelly-like appearance, it feels closer to normal human tissue. However, silicone and silicone gel breast implants affect the penetration of X-rays, so using them for breast augmentation will affect X-ray examinations of the breasts and chest. Alternatively, the implant can be filled with saline solution, which is harmless to the human body. However, due to the small molecular weight of salt water, it feels hard when overfilled. When the implant is not fully filled, it is easy to rupture due to the wrinkles in the outer membrane. Since the saline solution is filled in an open state, it is very easy to be contaminated, which may cause the formation of mold clumps in the saline solution. Once the prosthesis ruptures, it will cause harm to the human body. 1. Subfascial implantation of the pectoralis major muscle. The advantages of sub-pectoralis major fascial implantation are less bleeding, almost no pain after surgery, and no breast deformation due to exercise. Therefore, sports enthusiasts, dancers and other groups can consider this method first. 2. Dual-plane implantation method. The advantage of this method is that 2/3 of the prosthesis is implanted behind the pectoralis major muscle, and 1/3 is implanted in front of the pectoralis major muscle; the dual-plane technology greatly reduces the chance of capsular contracture, and it has a good feel and is full of dynamism. Therefore, it is suitable for people with strong pectoralis major muscles and slightly sagging breasts. 3. Sub-pectoralis major implantation method. Although the breast implant is implanted under the pectoralis major muscle, there is basically no cold feeling, and the capsular contracture is not likely to occur, and the implant is not easy to touch. This method is suitable for women with thin breast skin and infertile women. 4. Submammary implantation method. The subglandular breast implant surgery is simple, causes little damage to the body, and takes a short time; the position and appearance of the breast are natural. If you are fat or exercise a lot, it is very suitable for you. |
