How long does it take for ovulation to resume after induced abortion?

As we all know, a fertilized egg is formed only after a woman's egg and a man's sperm combine with each other, and the fertilized egg develops into an embryo only after it enters the uterus and implants. Therefore, ovulation is very important for women. If ovulation fails, it may be infertility. So the question is, if a woman does not want a child and has an induced abortion, how long will it take for her to resume ovulation after the induced abortion?

After miscarriage, the ovaries can generally resume ovulation function within 22 days, and menstruation will occur in about 1 month. Also note that sexual intercourse is prohibited within one month after abortion to avoid infection. However, a few women experience menstrual disorders such as prolonged menstruation, irregular cycles, and amenorrhea after abortion. This condition usually returns to normal after 2-3 months, but in a few people it lasts longer.

Precautions after induction of labor:

1. After induced abortion, you should rest at home for 3-5 days, relax and avoid fatigue.

2. Within 2 weeks after the operation, rest in bed appropriately and avoid heavy physical labor.

3. Eat more nutritious food to restore your body to normal as soon as possible.

4. Keep the vulva clean and hygienic, wash it with warm water 1-2 times a day, and change sanitary napkins frequently.

5. Do not take a sitz bath within 2 weeks or before vaginal bleeding has stopped.

6. Sexual intercourse is prohibited within 1 month to prevent genital organ infection. If you have fever, abdominal pain, or vaginal discharge with an unusual odor, seek medical attention immediately.

7. Once you resume sexual life after induced abortion, you must take contraceptive measures to avoid getting pregnant again.

You can do some appropriate exercise according to your own situation, but avoid strenuous exercise.
