The difference between natural birth and induced labor

1. Induction of labor

Induced labor refers to the use of artificial methods to induce uterine contractions to end pregnancy after 12 weeks of pregnancy due to maternal or fetal reasons. Normal delivery refers to delivery through the birth canal after the fetus is full-term. The possible harms caused by induced labor include: postpartum bleeding, birth canal damage, amniotic fluid embolism, uterine infection, and even infertility. Therefore, if you want to induce labor, you must go to a regular hospital and have a professional doctor perform it. After induced abortion, it is recommended to take proper rest, refrain from sexual intercourse and bathing within one month, avoid contact with cold water within two weeks, avoid eating spicy and irritating foods and cold foods, and pay attention to hygiene.

2. Natural childbirth

Natural childbirth is a way of delivery in which the three factors of labor force, birth canal and fetus are normal and can adapt to each other. The fetus is delivered naturally through the vagina after it is fully developed. The baby is born through the vagina. Generally speaking, natural childbirth is much better than caesarean section. At least the baby is intact and without defects after birth. This is the biggest temptation for women who love beauty. Natural childbirth is beneficial for both mother and child. Children who have been squeezed through the birth canal have stronger vitality and their mothers recover faster. Caesarean section is usually chosen only when it is absolutely necessary.

From the above content, we can know that natural birth and induced labor are two completely different things. Induced labor is extremely harmful to women themselves, and it is extremely irresponsible to the fetus in the womb. Natural birth is the greatest moment in a woman’s life. Through the efforts of both her and her children, she can successfully add a little angel to her life.
