How to deal with odor during menstruation?

As we all know, women will have menstrual blood flowing out of their lower body during menstruation. Although there are sanitary napkins, sometimes some problems may arise. For example, some women find that every time they have their period, their lower body emits a very unpleasant odor, which can even be smelled from one meter away. This is a very embarrassing thing. So, how to deal with the odor during menstruation?

1. Change sanitary napkins frequently

Many people like to wrap themselves tightly during menstruation, but this is like adding fuel to the fire, which will only increase sweat penetration and sweat odor. Therefore, during menstruation, you should use cotton underwear and change sanitary napkins as often as possible, and no more than 4 hours at a time, to reduce the contact between the skin and wet sanitary napkins. When the menstrual blood volume is heavy, the frequency of changing sanitary napkins should be increased accordingly. When using sanitary napkins, please remember the following points:

(1) Change every two hours.

(2) Use medicated sanitary napkins with caution to prevent allergies.

(3) Be sure to wash your hands before opening the sanitary napkin.

(4) Place sanitary napkins in the bathroom.

(5) It is easy to breed mold and contaminate sanitary napkins.

2. Clean the genitals

Female friends should frequently perform local cleaning, and clean the lower body with clean water or a wet towel at least twice a day, and the situation will be effectively improved.

3. Use special detergent to remove odor

When the temperature is high, bacteria in the private parts are easy to multiply, so you can use special cleanser or wet wipes to gently wipe it. But it should not be used frequently, as the user's ability to clean the private parts will be weakened. It can only be used when the smell is strong and before the end of menstruation.

4. Relax and cover up the odor

Menstrual blood is a mixture of endometrium, blood, and endometrial secretions, so it has a unique smell that is different from ordinary blood. None of these symptoms indicate a disease. This is a smell that every woman has, and it won't be noticed by people around you, so there is no need to feel unnecessary tension or worry.

5. Keep ventilation

Many women, especially young women, like to wear tight clothes to highlight their figures. Even during their menstrual period, they often like to wrap themselves tightly without ventilation. In fact, doing so is like adding fuel to the fire, which will only increase sweat penetration and sweat odor. Therefore, during menstruation, you should use cotton underwear and wear loose clothes to ensure ventilation.
