Low progesterone in early pregnancy means boy

Low progesterone in early pregnancy means boy

According to the basic theory of scientific research, the probability of having a boy or a girl is the same, but many people are still unwilling to give up and want to achieve the goal of having a boy or a girl through some folk methods. There are many different versions of folk names, and many of them are groundless. Why are women with low progesterone more likely to conceive a boy?

Why is it more likely to have a boy if the progesterone level is low during pregnancy?

Low progesterone during pregnancy does not affect the determination of fetal sex.

There are four key effects of progesterone:

1. Immunity maintenance effect

Progesterone has the function of maintaining immunity and inhibiting immune response. A study implanted a certain type of tumor cells into the uterus of animals. Only in the animals injected with progesterone were the cells not resisted and implanted into the endometrium, indicating that progesterone can suppress immune response. This also shows that when a woman is pregnant normally, the increase in progesterone levels can prevent the test tube embryo from being rejected by the pregnant mother and maintain the pregnancy. When the progesterone level is insufficient, the test tube embryo may be resisted by the pregnant mother and lead to miscarriage.

2. Blastocyst embryo implantation

During ovulation, under the action of estrogen secreted by progesterone, the uterine wall switches from the reproductive phase to the metabolic phase, making the uterine wall receptive to the implantation of the fertilized egg. Decidual cells are transformed from endometrial stromal cells and contain glycogen granules, which provide nutrients for the blastocyst. Estrogen can induce decidualization changes in the uterine wall and regulate the expression of various factors related to embryo implantation in an autometabolic or paracrine manner.

3. Inhibit uterine contractions

Some studies have shown that progesterone levels can change the permeability of the uterine cytoplasm to positive ions, causing the membrane to be in an abnormal state, thereby reducing the regulation and conductivity of uterine muscle fluids, and reducing the sensitivity of the uterine muscle to various stimuli (including oxytocin), thereby preventing the uterus from expelling the test tube embryo and playing a role in preserving the fetus.

Effective ways to conceive a boy

1. The alkaline natural environment of the human body

According to many years of scientific research statistics, it is proven that the acidity and alkalinity of food does affect the probability of having a boy or a girl, which is also the widely accepted scientific method at present. Women can increase the probability of conceiving a boy by adjusting the body's acid and alkali environment and eating more alkaline foods, while men can increase the probability of conceiving a boy by eating a balanced diet.

Alkaline foods include: legumes (pods or green beans), vegetables, fruits (except bananas, plums, and processed fruits), fresh milk, cereals (such as corn), tea, kelp, algae, yeast, iodine, calcium, and vitamin D.

2. Summer or high temperature natural environment

Studies have shown that the temperature of the environment in which men and women live one month before sexual intercourse is an important factor affecting the gender of the baby. High temperatures can affect the X chromosome in male sperm, making it difficult for a girl to be born. Ultra-low temperatures can affect the Y chromosome in male sperm, making it more difficult for a boy to be born. Therefore, generally speaking, summer or hot weather is more likely to produce boys.
