Pregnancy abdominal pain

Pregnancy abdominal pain

When you first become pregnant, you may experience symptoms of abdominal distension and pain, which may also cause women to stop menstruating and have changes in body temperature. I hope that women should pay attention to the symptoms of pregnancy and try to avoid the impact of abdominal distension and pain. The main reason for abdominal bloating and pain in early pregnancy is that hormonal changes cause slower gastrointestinal motility, which leads to abdominal bloating. This is a normal physiological phenomenon.

Is it normal to have a bloated belly when I just found out I'm pregnant?

It is normal. Due to the changes in hormones in the body during pregnancy, the intestinal motility will slow down, causing expectant mothers to experience bloating in the early stages of pregnancy. Some women also experience this feeling before their period. This is why clothes may feel tight around the waist in early pregnancy when your uterus is still very small. When bloating occurs, try to avoid drinking excessive tea, avoid eating foods that are prone to causing bloating, such as beans, fried foods, soda, glutinous rice, instant noodles, etc., and eat less sweets.

Symptoms of early pregnancy

1. Cessation of menstruation: This is the most common sign of pregnancy that most people notice. As long as a woman is of childbearing age and has normal menstruation, she may be pregnant if her period stops for more than two weeks after sexual intercourse. But not having your period does not mean you are pregnant. There are many reasons for not having your period, such as poor ovarian function, abnormal hormone secretion, busy work, exam stress, etc., which can all cause late menstruation. Therefore, it is best to get a doctor's diagnosis, which is the safest.

2. Breast pain, swelling and itching: Breast pain, swelling and itching are physiological phenomena in early pregnancy. In addition, there will be other changes such as darkening of areola, obvious veins under the breast skin, and obvious protrusion of nipples.

3. Frequent feeling of nausea and vomiting: Almost all pregnant women in the early stages of pregnancy often feel nausea and vomiting, especially at the beginning of the day. These symptoms vary from person to person, and some people have very mild symptoms, while others have very severe symptoms. Unless you have severe nausea and vomiting, you don't need to see a doctor. Otherwise, these are normal phenomena in early pregnancy.

4. Changes in skin color: Skin pigmentation or stretch marks may occur on the abdominal wall, especially in the later stages of pregnancy.
