Causes of cervical hypertrophy in women

Causes of cervical hypertrophy in women

Cervical hypertrophy is a very common condition in women, but many female friends do not pay attention to it. In its most severe form, cervical hypertrophy can lead to infertility. Cervical hypertrophy is also a common gynecological disease. There are multiple causes of this disease, such as cervical gland mucus retention, chronic inflammation and long-term stimulation, etc.

Cervical hypertrophy is a gynecological disease caused by inflammatory stimulation in women, generally manifested by congestion, edema, and cervical hyperplasia of the cervical tissue.

The pathogens that cause this disease include mycoplasma, chlamydia, bacteria, and viruses. Simple hypertrophy will not affect pregnancy. Severe cervicitis can cause endometritis, salpingo-oophoritis, fallopian tube adhesions and blockage, leading to infertility.

How does cervical hypertrophy occur?

1. Cervical gland mucus retention: When cervical gland mucus retention develops seriously, cysts of varying sizes will form, causing the cervix to become enlarged, resulting in cervical hypertrophy and infertility.

2. Chronic inflammation and long-term stimulation: Long-term inflammation and stimulation include chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, which can cause cervical congestion, swelling, and edema, and cause proliferation of cervical glands and stroma, thereby causing cervical hypertrophy and infertility.

3. Invasion of pathogens: The pathogens that cause cervical hypertrophy include mycoplasma, chlamydia, bacteria, etc. Once the patient is infected with mycoplasma, chlamydia and other viruses, the cervix will be seriously disturbed, causing cervical hypertrophy and infertility.

4. Intrauterine congestion: Intrauterine congestion can cause hyperplasia of uterine connective tissue, thus leading to cervical hypertrophy.

5. Ovarian dysfunction: Due to long-term stimulation of estrogen, the basal layer of the cervix becomes enlarged, and functional uterine bleeding is a common clinical condition.

6. Caused by inflammation: Chronic adnexitis and pelvic connective tissue inflammation can induce fibroplasia in the myometrium, which can lead to cervical hypertrophy.

After understanding the causes of cervical hypertrophy, female friends should not only take preventive measures against the cervix, but also regularly check the health of the uterus. If you suffer from cervical hypertrophy, please go to a regular hospital for treatment in time to avoid delaying the condition.
