What does a girl's vagina look like?

Under normal circumstances, a woman's vagina is in a closed state. Its length is about 6 to 8 centimeters. When doing a gynecological examination, we use a speculum to open the vagina and see the details of the vagina. It is generally divided into the inner and outer openings of the vagina and the top of the vagina, and the vaginal wall. The vaginal wall is mainly composed of the vaginal mucosa. In order to adapt to the needs of childbirth, the vaginal mucosa has many wrinkles, so it is more elastic and the color of the vaginal mucosa is light pink. The external opening of the vagina is mainly the broken hymen, and inside the vagina, the top, mainly the anterior vaginal fornix, posterior vaginal fornix, and cervix.

The vagina is an extensible tubular organ that connects the uterus and private parts; it is the passage for sexual intercourse; the menstrual discharge; and the passage for the birth of the fetus. The anterior wall of the vagina is approximately 7-9 cm long, and the posterior wall is approximately 9-12 cm long. The hymen at the inner and outer openings of the vagina is broken, usually during the first sexual intercourse. You cannot see what the inner surface of the vagina looks like, and only the vulva is in the private area.

During a gynecological examination, the vaginal wall can be opened with a dilator, and the condition of the inner surface of the vagina can be observed. There are many vaginal wrinkles with great flexibility, which can accommodate the fetal head and body during delivery, and slowly shrink after delivery. The uterine cavity, cervix, and female secretions are discharged through here. Pay attention to the daily cleaning of the perineum, wear pure cotton and breathable underwear, and clean and change them frequently.

The vagina is a woman's sexual organ and the channel for menstrual blood to be discharged and the fetus to be delivered. The vagina is generally light pink in color and is a muscular tube composed of mucosa, muscular layer and outer membrane. The vagina is quite flexible and connects the uterus and reproductive organs. The normal pH value of female secretions is 3.8-4.4. The lower part of the vagina is narrow, and the lower part opens into the vaginal vestibule at the vaginal orifice. In the Virgo stage, the hymen around the vulva is broken and adhered. The upper part of the vagina is spacious, surrounding the cervix and forming the vaginal vault.
