Vaginitis incubation period

Vaginitis incubation period

Vaginitis is a relatively common gynecological disease with a relatively high incidence rate. Failure to pay attention to personal hygiene or unclean sexual behavior may cause vaginitis. Generally speaking, vaginitis has a certain incubation period, but this incubation period is relatively short. It usually causes the disease 3 to 5 days after infection with the bacteria. If you get vaginitis in the early stages, you must treat it in time. The earlier the treatment, the better the effect.

Vaginitis incubation period

The incubation period of candidal vaginitis is generally 3-5 days, and it is easy to recur in a humid and closed environment. If infected, it will cause itching in the genitals and may cause small bumps on the penis. If there is redness or swelling, check it out and prescribe some Sophora flavescens wash solution, Red Core wash solution, etc. Do not have sex for the time being to avoid cross infection.

Check out the symptoms of female vaginitis

1. Symptoms of Trichomonas vaginitis

Trichomonas vaginitis is often manifested by increased vaginal discharge, which is mostly milky white or yellow, and sometimes purulent, foamy, and has an odor. Severe Trichomonas vaginitis can cause bloody leucorrhea, accompanied by hematuria, dysuria and frequent urination.

Hazards: If Trichomonas vaginitis is not treated in time, it may be complicated by Trichomonas urethritis, pyelitis and cystitis. Trichomonas can block sperm, so it can easily cause infertility and affect normal sexual life.

2. Symptoms of candidal vaginitis

Vulvar itching and burning pain are the main symptoms of candidal vaginitis. The amount of leucorrhea will increase significantly and become like tofu dregs. Occasionally, urinary pain and frequent urination may occur. During a gynecological examination, a white membrane can be observed on the inner side of the labia minora and the vaginal mucosa. Removing the white membrane will reveal the red and swollen mucosal surface. Acute candidal vaginitis may cause erosions or shallow ulcers.

Hazards: If not treated promptly and radically, the disease will recur and may easily lead to premature birth, fetal infection, malformation and other problems.

3. Symptoms of nonspecific vaginitis

Women with nonspecific vaginitis experience a feeling of vaginal heaviness and burning, accompanied by pelvic discomfort and general fatigue. Vaginal secretions will increase significantly, appearing as purulent serous fluid with an unpleasant odor. Vaginal secretions can irritate the urethra, which can easily cause urinary urgency, frequent urination and pain when urinating.

Hazards: Nonspecific vaginitis can cause problems such as vaginal adhesions, vaginal pyometra, cervical pyometra, and can easily lead to pelvic inflammatory disease, premature rupture of membranes, chorioamnionitis, etc.

4. Symptoms of bacterial vaginosis

The main symptoms of bacterial vaginitis are increased vaginal discharge, grayish white color, thin and foamy appearance, and foul odor. The vaginal mucosa is congested and has scattered blood spots, and the vulva is itchy and burning.

5. Symptoms of senile vaginitis

Senile vaginitis can also cause symptoms such as increased leucorrhea, which is yellow and watery. Severe senile vaginitis is purulent, with a foul odor, and sometimes bloody or spotting. In addition, vulvar itching, burning sensation, lower abdominal distension, frequent urination, urgency, and pain when urinating are also symptoms of senile vaginitis.
