Signs of pregnancy in the first month

Regardless of whether a woman has had pregnancy experience or not, she should know what physical symptoms she will experience in the first month of pregnancy. Because some pregnant women are unaware of the physical signs of pregnancy, some careless behaviors in life lead to miscarriage. Therefore, it is very important for female friends to understand the signs of their bodies during the first month of pregnancy.

After pregnancy, a woman's body will experience a series of discomforts. The most common symptom is amenorrhea, followed by morning sickness, drowsiness, etc. Next, let’s take a closer look at the symptoms of the first month of pregnancy.

1. Menopause. Amenorrhea is the earliest and most important "signal" of early pregnancy. Married women of childbearing age with normal menstrual cycles should consider the possibility of pregnancy if their period is overdue for more than 10 days.

2. Changes in appetite and early pregnancy reactions. Most women begin to experience changes in appetite 1 to 2 weeks after their period. The food you used to like, you no longer like now, or the food you ate once, you no longer like the second time. Some women even feel like not wanting to eat or vomiting, while others crave sour foods. Some women may experience dizziness, fatigue, drowsiness, increased salivation, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting when they are one month pregnant. These are called early pregnancy reactions. Changes in appetite and the duration and symptoms of early pregnancy reactions vary from person to person, but most will disappear on their own around 12 weeks into pregnancy.

3. Changes in basal body temperature. Women who have the habit of measuring their basal body temperature can use this to find out if they are pregnant. A woman's normal basal body temperature presents a bidirectional curve, that is, it is lower before ovulation and higher after ovulation. If the menstrual period does not come due, the body temperature rises and does not drop, and remains for more than 18 days, it means that you are pregnant. This is the typical body temperature change during one month of pregnancy.

4. Changes in breasts. During the first month of pregnancy, a woman's breasts will increase in size and become firmer and heavier. There will be a feeling of fullness and tingling in the breasts. The small particles on the dark yellow areola around the nipple are particularly prominent.

5. Frequent urination. Frequent urination is one of the common symptoms women experience during the first month of pregnancy. Some women can urinate once an hour. This is a natural phenomenon and does not require treatment.

6. Mental fatigue. Generally, one month into pregnancy, many women will feel tired, listless and want to sleep. But this period will not last too long and will pass quickly.

The above is an introduction to the symptoms of the first month of pregnancy. Another thing to note is that if you experience abdominal pain one month into your pregnancy or in the early stages of pregnancy, do not deal with it blindly on your own. It is best to go to the hospital for a check-up first and then receive treatment, so as not to delay the condition and affect the effectiveness of the treatment.
