Everyone knows the harm of cervical erosion to the female body. Women with cervical erosion will have more vaginal discharge and endocrine disorders. Many women with severe conditions cannot even get pregnant. Cervical erosion is also difficult to detect because the early symptoms are relatively mild and many women ignore them. By the time they discover the disease, it is already in the middle or late stages. So, how is cervical erosion detected? Examination of cervical erosion 1. Conduct iodine experiment The use of iodine for testing is not only highly accurate, but also simple and convenient to operate, and has low cost. This method mainly involves applying 3%-5% acetic acid solution on the cervix and observing the reaction of the cervical epithelium with the naked eye. If white lesions appear, samples can be taken from the area for testing. 2. Gynecological examination Many women choose this method to determine whether they have the disease. The focus of the examination is on various aspects of the cervix, including its shape and size, texture, whether there is bleeding, whether the cervical canal is normal, etc. A detailed examination of the vagina, vulva, fallopian tubes, ovaries, etc. will also be performed to determine whether a woman has the disease. 3. Cervical biopsy Doctors use this test mainly to find out whether a patient has cervical cancer. 4. Cervical smear cytology examination This method is relatively direct and very effective, and is a must-check item in gynecological examinations. 5. Colposcopy This type of examination can make up for the deficiencies of naked eye observation and can detect potential lesions. By using this method to detect suspicious areas, the accuracy of the test results can be improved. Symptoms of cervical erosion 1. Pain. This symptom is mainly caused by the presence of inflammation, which will spread to the pelvic cavity along the uterine ligaments, causing women to experience lower abdominal pain. Some women will also suffer from back pain due to inflammation. 2. Many. The most obvious is leucorrhea. Normal leucorrhea should be transparent, but this symptom will increase the amount of leucorrhea, which is mostly light yellow or milky white in color and feels sticky and thick. Sometimes there will be blood in the leucorrhea. 3. Difficult. Once the inflammation spreads to the bladder, the patient will experience difficulty and pain in urination, and some patients even report pain during defecation. 4. Itch. This symptom will cause an increase in leucorrhea, which in turn affects the vaginal environment, causing vaginal inflammation, itching, and even pain. 5. Blood. During intimacy, there may be an odor and possible bleeding. |
