Causes of Fallopian Tube Adhesions

Causes of Fallopian Tube Adhesions

The disease of fallopian tube adhesion is also divided into light, serious and urgent. It has several degrees, including first-degree adhesion, second-degree adhesion and third-degree adhesion. After a woman has fallopian tube adhesion, she is particularly prone to fallopian tube suppuration, which will cause the normal ovulation of the fallopian tube. Therefore, when the fallopian tube adhesion occurs, surgical treatment must be taken to open the adhesion. So what is the cause of fallopian tube adhesion?

What is the degree of fallopian tube adhesion?

Adhesion blockage of the fallopian tube can be mild or severe, and adhesions are divided into three degrees.

Adhesion of the fallopian tube is first degree:

Adhesion between the fallopian tube and the uterine horn is second degree;

The adhesion between the ampulla and fimbria of the fallopian tube is third degree.

Because of the difference in severity, some women with fallopian tube adhesions do not necessarily have to choose surgical treatment. AA69 Lu Jinfeng suggests that according to the severity of the disease, they can consider whether to use dietary supplements or traditional Chinese medicine treatment. For more serious cases, surgical treatment can be taken, and some people may even choose to have a baby through in vitro fertilization.

Four major causes of fallopian tube adhesions:

1. Infection after gynecological surgery:

After artificial abortion, IUD insertion, and IUD removal surgery, if the disinfection is not strict or the operation is improper, it is very likely to cause gynecological inflammation, which may lead to postoperative infection and cause adhesion of the fallopian tube.

2. Not paying attention to personal hygiene during menstruation:

During menstruation, the endometrium of the uterus is shed and the blood sinuses in the uterine wall are opened. The female reproductive system is very fragile and prone to infection.

3. Infection after delivery or miscarriage:

Women’s physical condition is relatively weak after giving birth or miscarriage. The cervical opening does not close well after dilation. The bacteria in the vagina and cervix may infect the fallopian tubes, causing inflammation and adhesion.

4. Spread of inflammation to adjacent organs:

Pelvic connective tissue inflammation. Pelvic infection causes adhesions around the fallopian tubes, adhering the fallopian tubes to the pelvic wall, and eventually leading to fallopian tube adhesions.

Generally, many women with fallopian tube adhesions will experience lower abdominal pain. Some women with fallopian tube adhesions will have a feeling of anal distension. In severe cases, they will be restless and have difficulty moving. The pain usually lasts for 3-7 days and occurs cyclically.

The inflammation caused by fallopian tube adhesions can also cause women to have sticky, purulent leucorrhea, which contains a large number of white blood cells. The white blood cells will engulf sperm, making it impossible for the sperm to enter the uterine cavity and combine with the egg.

The most harmful consequence of fallopian tube adhesion is female infertility. In the opinion of AA69 Lu Jinfeng, the fallopian tube plays an important role in female reproductive function. It is located in the "fortress" where sperm combines with sperm and ovum and the fertilized egg runs. Once fallopian tube adhesion occurs, even if the egg has been fertilized, it cannot enter the uterus and conception cannot occur.

Fallopian tube adhesion can not only lead to infertility but also ectopic pregnancy. Many women are prone to fallopian tube adhesions. If adhesions occur completely, women will have no chance of getting pregnant. However, if adhesions occur partially, women still have hope of getting pregnant, but the chance of ectopic pregnancy is very high.
