What are the traditional Chinese medicine prescriptions for candidal vaginitis?

For many diseases, people prefer to choose Chinese herbal medicine treatment. An important advantage of Chinese herbal medicine treatment is that its side effects are very small, and it mainly focuses on regulating the body, so the treatment is more thorough. Women with poor immunity or who do not pay attention to personal hygiene are prone to candidal vaginitis, which can cause patients to have many symptoms such as vaginal itching. So how to use Chinese medicine treatment at this time?

Traditional Chinese medicine prescription for fungal vaginitis:

Prescription 1: 30 grams of Dictamni

30g Phellodendron

Take out the medicine bag and dry it before fumigation. It can be used again. One course of treatment is 7 days. After soaking and washing, insert 1 clotrimazole suppository or daktarin suppository into the vagina and apply the above ointment to the vulva.

Patchouli 30g

15g Coptis chinensis

Borneol 1g

This prescription clears away heat and dampness, kills insects and relieves itching, and has a strong inhibitory and killing effect on Candida albicans and other superficial skin fungi as well as gonorrhea. Usage: 1 dose per day, decoct in water and use for external washing and soaking of the vulva 1 to 2 times, 30 minutes each time. It can also be made into external lotion and external cream for external use. Married women can flush their vagina once a day with the liquid medicine. Continuous medication for 12 days constitutes a course of treatment.

Prescription 3: Compound Kushen Decoction

Prescription: 30 grams of Sophora flavescens, 20 grams of Cnidium monnieri, 20 grams of Kochia scoparia, 20 grams of Dictamni, 20 grams of Pulsatilla scabra, and 10 grams of Menthus fragrans.

Usage: Add 2000ml of water and soak for 15 minutes, boil over high heat for 5 minutes, add mint and continue to simmer for 10 minutes. Pour out the liquid medicine after separating the residue. Steam the vulva while it is hot, and then sit in the bath for 15-20 minutes after the water becomes warm, once or twice a day for ten days.

Prescription 4: Mix 1 tube of Bingpeng Powder with 2 tubes of Xilei Powder and spray them on the vaginal wall once a day for 10 days as a course of treatment; decoct 3 to 5 mugwort leaves or garlic stems into a decoction for external washing for 7 days as a course of treatment; 15 grams each of Phellodendron chinense, Taraxacum mongolicum, Cnidium monnieri, and Sophora flavescens, decoct them into a decoction and first fumigate and then wash the vulva and vagina, twice a day.

Prescription five: Bianxu, Chuanbijie, rice, and a little rock sugar. First, boil the Herba Polygoni Multiflori and Radix Chuanxiong with appropriate amount of water to extract the juice and remove the residue. Add the juice into the porridge with polished rice and add rock sugar when eating. This prescription has the functions of promoting diuresis, relieving stranguria, inhibiting bacteria and relieving itching.

Prescription six: bark of Chinese toon, bark of white moss, and phellodendron. Add appropriate amount of water and boil. This prescription can clear away heat and dampness.

In patients with chronic candidal vaginitis, symptoms of vulvar itching and pain may not be obvious. Usually, there is a lot of white vaginal discharge. At this time, it is advisable to use a dietary therapy that has the effect of strengthening the spleen and removing dampness.

If you are not sure if you have any other discomfort, you must find a regular hospital doctor to take the above-mentioned Chinese herbal medicine and explain your situation in detail. In addition, you should drink more water and the inflammation will disappear quickly.

For some patients, symptoms will improve or disappear quickly after oral and topical treatments, but this does not mean that fungal vulvovaginitis has been cured, but that Candida has been temporarily suppressed. Patients must not stop taking the medicine, but should follow the doctor's instructions, complete the course of treatment, and then go to the hospital for a gynecological examination and microscopic examination of vaginal secretions after the menstruation is over. A negative result means that the patient has recovered recently. If necessary, treatment will continue. Only when gynecological examinations and microscopic examinations of vaginal secretions show no abnormalities for three consecutive months can it be considered completely cured.

Some patients do not follow the medication rules. They stop taking the medication without authorization when their symptoms improve slightly. Soon the symptoms reappear, so they take the medication again for a period of time, and stop taking the medication again when the symptoms disappear. If the drug is used on and off like this, Candida will develop drug resistance, affect the efficacy of the drug, and lead to chronic candidal vaginitis, which is difficult to cure, causing inconvenience to the patient's life and causing mental stress.
