The gestational sac has not grown for a week

The gestational sac has not grown for a week

The gestational sac refers to the development of the fertilized egg before the fetus is formed. Therefore, the key to the growth of the gestational sac is to affect the development of the fetus. After about a week, the gestational sac begins to grow slowly. However, due to the pregnant woman's own reasons, some gestational sacs may not develop too quickly. There are more special reasons that may cause the gestational sac to not develop within a week or so. If the gestational sac does not grow in a week, will it continue to grow?

Will the gestational sac grow again if it has not grown for a week?

The gestational sac is the primitive placental tissue, a small embryo wrapped by the amniotic membrane and vascular network, and is only seen in the early stages of pregnancy. For women who have regular menstruation of 28 to 30 days, after 35 days of amenorrhea, ultrasound can show the gestational sac in the uterine cavity, even though the fetus has not yet formed.

1. Delayed embryo development is mostly caused by vaginal bleeding due to threatened abortion, insufficient secretion of progesterone, physical and chemical stimulation, viral infection and the embryo itself. Therefore, you need to properly summarize whether there are any suspicious or noteworthy aspects of your environment before and after conception.

2. People usually take the second attempt more seriously, so many people succeed the second time.

3. If there is no clear reason for the cessation or delay of embryonic development, it is generally assumed to be a lack of progesterone. At this time, an appropriate amount of progesterone will be given to protect the fetus, and most of the time there will be good results, so don't be too anxious.

How many days of pregnancy will the gestational sac appear?

1. The gestational sac is the initial form of pregnancy. It is a small embryo wrapped in the original placental tissue by the amniotic membrane and vascular network. The fetus had not yet formed at that time, but the fetal heartbeat was already there when the embryo bud appeared.

2. The gestational sac is very small at the beginning and then grows slowly. Generally speaking, after 5 weeks of pregnancy, a small gestational sac can be seen on B-ultrasound, which occupies less than 1/4 of the uterine cavity, or a fetal bud can be seen. If it is a normal intrauterine pregnancy, the gestational sac can be seen in the uterus through B-ultrasound around 40 days of pregnancy. However, due to individual differences in the time of conception, some pregnant women may not be able to see it until around 45 days.

3. Usually, when HCG reaches 1000U/L, vaginal ultrasound should be able to identify the intrauterine gestational sac. This is around the 4th or 5th day of the 5th week of pregnancy. When HCG reaches 6500U/L, abdominal ultrasound can identify the intrauterine gestational sac. Therefore, vaginal ultrasound will be more accurate. If the intrauterine gestational sac is not seen on the 49th day of pregnancy during a normal menstrual cycle, ectopic pregnancy should be suspected.

If the gestational sac has not grown within a week after pregnancy, will it continue to grow? We all know the answer to this question. If the gestational sac has not grown within a week after pregnancy, women can wait for a while and check again. If it still has not grown, they need to take appropriate measures based on the doctor's advice and opinions. They may need to have an abortion. Otherwise, it will have adverse effects on the body over time, and this effect can be avoided.
