How to treat cervical erosion and cyst

More and more women are suffering from gynecological diseases such as cervical erosion. Cervical erosion is mainly an inflammatory problem, so there are many different types of cervical erosion. Female friends are very scared when they suffer from cervical erosion, because cervical erosion is mainly a problem with the female uterus, which will affect a woman's fertility. There is a type of cervical erosion called cervical erosion cyst. How should this type be treated?

Cervical erosion

Cervical erosion and cervical columnar epithelium ectopia are normal physiological phenomena and have no special clinical manifestations. Some people may experience contact bleeding, but this is just an individual difference in the cervix, just like some people will bleed from their teeth or mouth when they chew something hard. If the amount of vaginal discharge increases, becomes yellow, and has an odor, it is a sign of cervical inflammation. The cyst and hypertrophy of the cervix are also the result of chronic cervical inflammation.

Cervical cyst

Cervical cyst is a manifestation of chronic cervicitis. Cervical gland cyst, also known as Nathian gland cyst, is a cyst caused by cervical erosion in the healing process, which prevents the secretions in the gland from flowing out. The excessive proliferation of new squamous epithelium blocks the cervical gland duct. Cervical cysts are generally small and scattered, protruding on the surface of the cervix, bluish-white in color, and retained in the gland to form cysts of varying sizes. If secondary infection occurs, small yellow cysts may appear, which are not tumors.

Treatment of cervical cyst:

Since it is an inflammation, it is not serious, but it needs to be emphasized that chronic cervicitis is closely related to cervical cancer. Under long-term inflammatory stimulation, a small number of patients with chronic cervicitis have a tendency to malignant transformation, so it still requires high attention. The main thing is to have a cervical smear test every year to rule out cervical cancer and precancerous diseases.

1. For the symptoms of cervical nabothian cysts, scattered and relatively small cervical glandular cysts generally do not require treatment, and annual examinations are sufficient.

2. For densely packed smaller Nabothian cysts or relatively large cysts, physical treatments such as phototherapy, laser, microwave, and self-coagulation knife can be considered.

3. For larger tumors that protrude from the surface of the cervix, electrosurgical excision can be considered.

The above treatment methods are not very painful and will not affect daily work and life.
