Acne on face during menstruation

Acne is one of the substances on the skin that everyone dislikes the most. However, acne often occurs during a special period for women, that is, the menstrual period. Women are greatly affected by their emotions during menstruation, and many of them become anxious or emotionally unstable. Menstruation affects women's metabolism and blood circulation in the body. Why do I get acne on my face during menstruation?

1. Why do you get acne on your face during menstruation?

Acne on the face during menstruation is mainly due to endocrine disorders, vigorous secretion of sebaceous glands, excessive oil, enlarged and clogged pores, thickening of the stratum corneum, and oil gradually bulging to the surface of the cortex. Oil clogs the pores, and Propionibacterium acnes multiplies in large numbers under hypoxic conditions, leading to the invasion of inflammatory bacteria, turning into pustules and nodules, and the entire hair follicles becoming red and inflamed. The bacteria spread to the nearby skin tissue and become larger, thus forming acne. Therefore, women are more likely to get acne repeatedly during their menstrual period.
