How long will it take to give birth if there is bleeding in late pregnancy?

Women who have given birth know that if you see blood in the late pregnancy, it means that you are about to give birth and you need to prepare for delivery. So seeing blood is the main information of labor, and it will also cause labor pains for pregnant women. However, due to different physical constitutions of women, some women will not experience labor pains until several days after seeing blood. So how long will it take for bleeding in the late pregnancy to give birth?

First, how long does it take for bleeding in the late pregnancy to lead to childbirth? Within 24-48 hours before delivery, the cervix begins to move, causing the fetal membrane near the cervix to separate from the uterine wall at that location, capillaries rupture and a small amount of blood is discharged through the vagina and mixed with the mucus in the cervical canal and discharged. This bloody mucus that flows out through the vagina is what we commonly call "seeing blood".

Second, symptoms before delivery: spotting. As the fetus descends, the fetal membrane covering the fetus is peeled off from the uterus, and the blood that flows out seeps into the mucous membrane of the cervical canal, so some bloody mucus will be secreted. Note: If the amount of blood exceeds the menstrual volume, it may be an obstetric disease such as placenta previa. It should not be considered as spotting and you need to go to the hospital for treatment. Uterine contractions. If you have intermittent abdominal pain accompanied by back pain and a feeling of falling, and if your uterine contractions change from irregular to regular, and if the pain occurs about every 10 minutes, you should go to the hospital for hospitalization. Expectant mothers must remember the start time of contractions, the interval time and the duration of pain. Water breaks. When part of the amniotic membrane surrounding the fetus ruptures and amniotic fluid flows out, it is called rupture of membranes. The normal delivery process is usually that the cervix opens and the water breaks when the fetal head enters the birth canal. If the cervical canal has not yet opened and you can feel warm water flowing out, it is suspected to be premature rupture of membranes. At this time, you cannot handle it yourself and should go to the hospital immediately. Before going to the hospital, the expectant mother should immediately put on clean finger-free cotton, lie flat, and raise her hips as high as possible. The amniotic fluid that flows out when water breaks is lighter in color than urine, it is light yellow and a slippery liquid with a sweet and sour taste, which can be distinguished from urine.

How long does it take to give birth after bleeding in the late pregnancy? "Showing blood" is a reliable sign that delivery is about to begin. Therefore, when the due date has arrived and there are irregular uterine contractions, pregnant women should promptly discover this sign, especially when they find that the shorts near the vaginal opening feel damp and uncomfortable, they should immediately check whether there is such bloody secretion on the shorts. If there is, they should go to the obstetrics and gynecology hospital without delay to prevent accidents. Some situations can also cause vaginal bleeding. But generally speaking, if the prenatal examination is normal and there are no abnormal conditions at other times, the due date has arrived, and there have been irregular uterine contractions, then if bloody mucus is found to be flowing out of the vagina, it is a reliable sign before delivery.
