Bleeding in stool, slight stomach pain

Bleeding in stool, slight stomach pain

Many people face the problem of constipation in life. Some people have severe constipation, so they may experience bleeding symptoms when defecating. Generally speaking, bloody stools are accompanied by mild abdominal pain, which is related to many factors. But more people often think that it is caused by hemorrhoids at the first time. Besides this, what else could be the cause of this symptom?

1. Internal hemorrhoids

Bleeding in the stool may be a symptom of internal hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids are referred to as internal hemorrhoids. Internal hemorrhoids grow above the dentate line. They are soft venous masses formed by the enlargement and varicose venous plexus within the submucosal hemorrhoids, and are called internal hemorrhoids. The main symptoms of internal hemorrhoids are bleeding and prolapse. Most of them are painless soft lumps. Long-term and repeated bleeding can cause severe anemia. It is recommended that you see a doctor if the condition is serious.

2. Gastric bleeding and rectal bleeding

If you have blood in your stool, there are two situations: gastric bleeding and diarrhea, or rectal bleeding. If it is gastric bleeding, the stool is usually black, and diarrhea can cause direct blood in the stool. Since the rectum is close to the anus, blood will flow directly into the stool. Pay attention to a light diet these days, avoid eating hard foods, and go to the hospital for tests as soon as possible. Don't delay until it gets worse.

3. Others

Blood in the stool may be caused by hemorrhoids, proctitis, colitis and other diseases. It is recommended to have a colonoscopy to determine the cause of the disease, and then provide targeted treatment. At present, it is best to eat light, soft foods and pay attention to rest. In addition, internal hemorrhoids or mixed hemorrhoids are likely to occur. It is recommended to develop good hygiene and bowel habits, drink more water, eat more vegetables and fruits to soften the stool, and take regular baths to clean the anus. It is recommended to follow up in the anorectal surgery outpatient clinic, and comprehensively assess the condition based on the doctor's physical examination and medical history. Symptomatic treatment with topical medication or surgical treatment is recommended.
