Symptoms of a boy pregnancy

Symptoms of a boy pregnancy

As a pregnant woman, you have endless expectations for your baby. Therefore, during pregnancy, we will do prenatal education, talk to the baby on time every day, and feel the wonderful feeling of fetal movement. Of course, whether the baby is a boy or a girl is also what expectant parents care about most. But this is not allowed morally and legally. Therefore, pregnant mothers rely on some reactions during pregnancy to determine the baby’s gender. Let’s find out.

Early pregnancy symptoms

1. When you are pregnant with a boy, it is not easy to tell that she is pregnant from the back, but when you are pregnant with a girl, you can clearly see her belly from the back.

2. Some people say that when you are pregnant with a boy, your belly is pointier, while when you are pregnant with a girl, your belly is rounder.

3. Changes in the appearance and skin of pregnant women: If the appearance of a pregnant woman becomes beautiful and her skin becomes smooth, she may give birth to a girl. On the contrary, if her appearance becomes uglier, her skin becomes rough, or even her face is covered with acne, she may give birth to a boy. Many people believe this statement, but it turns out that it is not very credible.

4. Changes in the taste of pregnant women: Some people believe that if the taste of a pregnant woman is different from that of the previous pregnancy, the gender of the fetus will also change. In fact, a pregnant woman’s preference for sour or sweet food has nothing to do with the gender of the fetus.

5. The speed and strength of the fetal heart rate: It is generally believed that if the fetal heart rate is stronger and slower, the fetus is more likely to be a boy; otherwise, it is a girl. This method of guessing the sex of the fetus also has a high chance of error.

6. Some medical personnel have conducted research to predict the baby's gender based on certain phenomena. Recent research reports show that in the early stages of pregnancy, the more severe the pregnancy reaction, the greater the chance of giving birth to a girl.

7. It is generally believed that mothers who are pregnant with boys have more stress and that male babies require more energy than female babies.

Is it accurate to tell the gender of the fetus by heart rate?

Gynecologists point out that this actually has no scientific basis. Because the content of fetal heart monitoring examination is the curve of the monitoring graph formed by signal tracing the instantaneous changes of fetal heart rate, it is possible to understand the reaction of the fetal heart rate during fetal movement and uterine contraction, so as to infer whether the fetus in the uterus is suffering from hypoxia. The normal fetal heart rate is between 120 beats/minute and 160 beats/minute. If the fetal heart rate remains <120/minute or >160/minute for more than 10 minutes, it indicates that the fetal heart rate is abnormal.

The condition of the pregnant woman herself also affects the changes in the fetal heart rate. For example, if the pregnant woman has a fever, the fetal heart rate will often exceed 160 beats/minute. If the pregnant woman has hyperthyroidism, her own heart rate is very fast, and the fetal heart rate will often exceed 160 beats/minute. If the pregnant woman takes certain medications, such as salbutamol taken during premature delivery to preserve the fetus, or atropine, it can cause the mother and child's heart rate to accelerate. A slow fetal heart rate may be caused by fetal hypoxia, but sometimes pregnant women take certain medications, such as propranolol, which act on the fetus through the placenta and cause the fetal heart rate to slow down.
