Vaginal Adhesions

Vaginal Adhesions

What causes vaginal adhesions? Vaginal adhesion is an uncommon female gynecological disease, which can be divided into congenital and acquired types. Congenital vaginal adhesions are mostly caused by chromosomal abnormalities, while acquired chromosomal adhesions are often caused by inflammation. They can be treated surgically, or with medication if the condition is mild.

Causes of Vaginal Adhesions

The main cause of vaginal adhesions is ovarian failure, low or insufficient estrogen levels in the body, decreased glycogen in the squamous epithelial cells of the vagina, alkaline pH in the vagina, and reduced ability to eliminate bacteria. In addition, because the vaginal mucosa shrinks, the epithelial cells are thin, and the blood circulation is insufficient, the resistance of the vagina is reduced, which is conducive to the invasion and reproduction of bacteria and causes inflammation and disease. In addition, my poor living habits and lack of nutrients, especially deficiency of B vitamins, may be related to the onset of the disease.

Vaginal Adhesions

The vaginal opening is not visible in the vaginal adhesions, which is different from congenital vaginal absence in that:

Labia minora adhesion refers to the adhesion of the two labia minora to each other, covering the urethral opening and vaginal opening, leaving only a small round hole above the labia minora to discharge urine, but the urine stream is thin.

What to do if you have vaginal adhesions

1. From the anatomical structure of the female vagina, the distance between the vulva opening, urethra opening and anus opening is relatively close, which is not conducive to vaginal hygiene. The anatomical protection of the labia majora and labia majora for the vulva is far worse than that of the male sexual organs. Therefore, women need to pay attention to their private hygiene.

Infection from the outside is mainly caused by touching infected toilets, bathtubs, bathroom seats, cotton towels in shared places, and using unclean handkerchiefs, which can all lead to infection. Therefore, active treatment can eliminate the source of infection. The use of Ph4 weak acid formula feminine wash is suitable for daily cleaning and maintenance. At the same time, the use of weak acid formula feminine wash during treatment will inhibit the growth and reproduction of pathogens. Keep the vulva clean and dry, and avoid scratching. It is not suitable to take spicy food or stimulating food, but the actual effect is very good. Change underwear frequently and wash with warm water. Do not wash with other clothes to avoid cross infection.

2. Women who find abnormal leucorrhea, vulvar itching, and obvious pain during sexual intercourse should see a doctor as soon as possible. If it is confirmed to be vaginal adhesion, the doctor should give anti-infection, vaginal medication and other medications after determining the cause of the disease. After confirming candidal vaginitis, fungal vaginitis, nonspecific vaginitis, gynecological inflammation in young women, and vaginitis in the elderly, treatment methods based on different symptoms can be used.
