Will there be fluid accumulation in the pelvic cavity during ectopic pregnancy?

B-ultrasound showed that there was a lot of fluid accumulation, which might be pelvic inflammatory disease, and ectopic pregnancy needs to be ruled out. It is recommended that you check your blood HCG. If you do not have symptoms of abdominal pain or dizziness, it is recommended that you have another ultrasound check one week later to see if there is a gestational sac in the uterine cavity. If it is an ectopic pregnancy and there is no rupture, you can undergo a laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery.

Six major hazards of ectopic pregnancy

1. Menopause

Most patients with ectopic pregnancy will have a short history of amenorrhea before the occurrence of ectopic pregnancy, and will also have some early pregnancy reactions, such as nausea, vomiting, etc., and the pregnancy test will also be positive.

2. Vaginal bleeding

After the embryo dies outside the uterus, there will often be some very irregular vaginal bleeding, which is basically in the form of drips, dark brown in color, and very small in amount, generally not exceeding the amount of menstruation, and is not clean.

3. Abdominal pain

The incidence of abdominal pain in patients with ectopic pregnancy is 95%. The abdominal pain is mainly caused by various reasons such as fallopian tube enlargement, rupture, and blood irritation to the peritoneum. Generally, there is sudden tearing or paroxysmal pain on one side of the lower abdomen, and symptoms of nausea and vomiting may also occur.

4. Pale complexion

Patients with ectopic pregnancy may become pale and bloodless in the short term, and may also experience symptoms such as dry mouth, palpitations, fear of cold, and fatigue.

5. Syncope and shock

Due to acute intra-abdominal bleeding, it is likely to cause a rapid decrease in blood volume and severe abdominal pain. In mild cases, fainting often occurs, and in severe cases, shock may occur.

6. Diarrhea

Patients with ectopic pregnancy are likely to experience diarrhea symptoms. If you do not carefully analyze the condition at this time, it can easily be mistaken for indigestion or intestinal emergencies.
