Yellow and sticky vaginal discharge during ovulation

Yellow and sticky vaginal discharge during ovulation

When a female star is in the ovulation period, the secretion of female hormones in her body will suddenly increase, and at this time some abnormal phenomena will occur in the female body. For example, some women may experience lower abdominal pain. Some people may even find that their leucorrhea becomes yellow and sticky. Of course, this may be caused by vaginitis. Let’s take a closer look at why leucorrhea turns yellow and sticky during ovulation.

1. Pay attention to a regular rhythm of life and improve your own immunity to avoid infection by pathogens. Try to eliminate the possibility of exposure to pathogens.

2. Regular check-ups: Even if you do not feel any discomfort, you should still have regular check-ups. It is best to have a comprehensive gynecological examination at least once a year.

3. Exercise moderation in sexual intercourse. Both men and women should pay attention to sexual hygiene, especially during menstruation, pregnancy and postpartum period. The genitals should be kept clean at ordinary times and public baths should be avoided. Women with tinea pedis should use separate towels and basins for washing feet and vulva.

4. Wear less tight pants: Wear less tight or close-fitting pants such as jeans, and avoid wearing tight nylon underwear. Choose cotton underwear.

5. Not using sanitary pads on weekdays: Some female friends are worried that leucorrhea will stain their underwear or are too lazy to wash their underwear, so they always use sanitary pads on weekdays. This practice is not advisable. When you are not menstruating, try not to use sanitary pads. Wash your vulva with clean water and change your underwear every night. In addition, do not use various medicinal liquids to clean the vagina, as this will damage the internal environment of the vagina and cause vaginitis.

6. Enhance immunity: insist on exercising to improve physical fitness; get enough sleep, eat a proper diet and have a balanced nutrition. Eat more foods rich in vitamins.

7. Psychological adjustment: Always find things to do that make you happy, or tend to flowers and plants, appreciate music, maintain a peaceful mental state, and avoid being overly excited, angry, and impatient.

8. Seek medical attention promptly: If you experience an increase in vaginal discharge or other discomfort, go to the hospital immediately for diagnosis and treatment. Be sure to take the medicine under the guidance of a doctor. If the medicine is not used properly, it may aggravate the condition. The treatment course should be continued to prevent recurrence.
