Women's menstrual blood is black

Girls have menstruation every month. During menstruation, girls will experience physical changes and their emotions will become unstable, so they need understanding from others. Girls should learn to observe their own living conditions. If there are any abnormal conditions, they should go to the hospital for diagnosis in time. Some girls' menstrual blood is black, which is an abnormal phenomenon and needs attention. So, why is the menstrual blood black when girls have their period?

First of all, we must make it clear that the color of normal menstrual blood should be dark red. There will be some detached small fragments of endometrium, cervical mucus, vaginal epithelial cells, etc. mixed in the blood. These are all normal phenomena. But it should be noted that normal menstrual blood should not contain blood clots. On the contrary, if the menstrual blood is too thin and the color is only slightly pink or black or purple, you should pay attention, as this is an abnormal phenomenon.

The main reasons for dark menstrual blood are:

1. Qi stagnation and blood stasis

The main culprit causing women's menstrual blood to turn black is Qi stagnation and blood stasis. Observe carefully: if you often experience early or late menstruation, irregular menstrual flow, purple or black color, blood clots, swelling and pain in the chest, flanks, breasts and lower abdomen, etc., then it is most likely Qi stagnation and blood stasis.

2. Deficiency of Qi and Blood

If a woman is deficient in both Qi and blood, it is easy for her menstrual blood to turn black. Long-term menstrual cycle disorders, light-colored and thin menstrual blood, dizziness, lack of energy, pale or sallow complexion, etc. are all symptoms of Qi and blood deficiency.

3. Kidney deficiency

Women with kidney deficiency often experience dark menstrual blood. At the same time, they are often accompanied by symptoms such as irregular menstrual cycles, small amount of menstrual blood, thin menstrual blood, sore waist and legs, heel pain, dizziness, tinnitus, and frequent urination at night.

Menstruation is a barometer of the female body. If the menstrual blood is dark in color or blood clots appear, it is most likely due to other bleeding sites. At this time, do not be afraid to see a doctor and should see a doctor in time.
